I have been in the market for a memory foam mattress and came across this deal. Full $539 The Queeen is $10 more but im not sure i want to lose any more room space as it is.
Not sure how this compares with the Wally Memory Mattress But im pretty sure it cannot beat the Costco Warranty. As well it seems to have 2 inches more memory which may not seeem to be alot but actually is which includes the new coolwave for people that get hot easily.

nice price - looks to be 150 off their regular price. We got in on a deal on the Novaform Comfortluxe at 150 or 200 off a while back. We got a Queen. Love the Coolwave layer - it does a good job but these things still seem to sleep a bit hotter than a regular mattress for me at least.
I've slept on both coolwave and non-coolwave mattress. Coolwave really does the job and doesn't heat up as much as the non-coolwave. I'd get another one but wouldn't know where to put it =P

Re warranty, does the Costco return policy extend to mattresses? In California, I believe it is illegal to resell a returned mattress, but bedding is not listed in the Costco lifetime return exceptions:
Merchandise: We guarantee your satisfaction on every product we sell with a full refund. Exceptions: Televisions, projectors, computers, cameras, camcorders, iPOD / MP3 players and cellular phones must be returned within 90 days of purchase for a refund.
I started one of these threads awhile ago and I bought one off emattress.com for my mom. I paid about $500 for it and then later I found a better deal on eBay. I bought a Queen 10 inch mattress off eBay (the complete sleep shop) for $300 (i picked it up in CA so it was only $20 more) last september. I absolutely LOVE my mattress. I think it is more expensive now, but I think it is still less than $400. If you are all thinking of a memory foam mattress, then take a look at the ones on eBay, especially the complete sleep shop (since I have personal experience buying from them). I wouldnt pay more than $300-400 for a memory foam mattress.

Furniture doesn't have a warranty unless it's defective in the first 90 days. I just filed a complaint against Costco with the Security's & Exchange Commission for fraud. Publicly held companies can't commit blatant fraud. They're nothing but bald faced liars.

obviously...the above poster concered with fraud is having a rough morning..some warranty's are not good enough for people
back to the mattress...this is a great price. we had this mattress for a year and it has been great. i think i paid 550 last year AC in stock at B&M. 1st one didn't deflate proporly so i returned it and got a second box...second one deflated so much better, faster then 1st. Only thing is you have to drag it back to the store.
+1 for the Sleep Shop comment. I just got one last week. They sell them on Amazon and eBay I believe.
Anyways, $479 shipped for a Queen. Supposed to be 12" Memory Foam. To be completely honest, I have never had better sleep and been this comfortable in a bed. You really cant go wrong with one of these........but dont take my word for it.
I surprisingly have to disagree. I bought the Novafoam Memory Foam topper that they are selling at costco now, and I'm going to return it. If your mattress isnt plush or doesnt have a pillow-top, then I can see how one of these can benefit you. But my mattress has a pillowtop, so when I put the memory foam on top of that, I found that it wasnt much "plusher" than with just the pillowtop alone.
Furthermore, this memory foam stuff really retains heat, so it's warmer to sleep on. Not extremely so, but it's definitely warmer on your skin. Because I live in a hot climate (LA), this is a deal breaker for me. Like I said, I expected to like it - just wasnt for a "hot sleeper" like me.
Dotn know if this "coolwave" stuff or whatever makes a difference...just stating my opinion on the normal memory foam.

??? Are you saying they wouldn't let you return furniture?
I found some great deals on eBay. But thats eBay, its much harder to deal with a seller than an actual B&M store. On top of that i found alot of them arent even bonded together. They state you can change put the layers in different orders depending on your comfort.
The costco policy states the exceptions are only eligible for returns before 90DY, everything else has the lifetime policy. That may be why people are confused.

Call your local store, or better yet, a homestore that deals specifically with furniture and talk to the REAL MANAGER, not the 30 who say they are the manager. Ask for the manager of the entire store.
ucbedge, if you've had it more than 90 days, let us all know what happened. 30 days, no sweat. the next 60 days, interrogation, be sure to take a urine specimen and a blood sample as well. more than that, too bad. that's the way it is here in washington state. i started shopping at costco when they opened their first store. their corporate headquarters is about 45 minutes from where i live now.
they stopped taking back plasma tv's at the stores 4 months before they announced it here. nobody believed that was true, either. and if you haven't noticed, a lot of the stuff in their stores is "refurbished." at least it is here.
i used to be a die hard costco customer. i cancelled my membership a month ago. they aren't the best bang for the buck regarding electronics, hardware, and furniture either. without their former warranty, they are insignificant, although if you like to buy a years supply of toilet paper, or have a lot of hungry mouths at home, that's different. the food is great, but the pharamacy is a rip off.
freebeeeguy said:do they have these at costco stores? i really want one but i want to try it out first I have seen them sold at all four Costco locations that I have visited, but I did not see any of them on display, so you probably will not be able to try them out.
