Please use this thread to post known bonus codes for adding Tracfone airtime.
Please add known working codes to the "quick summary" section below.
Please do NOT post phone deals here.
To enter bonus code, if you are redeeming airtime via your tracfone, append the code to the airtime code: e.g. xxxxxxxxxxxx57676 where xxxxxxxxxxxx is the airtime code
If you are using the website (www.tracfone.com), after you enter the ESN/IMEI, select "Want to use the WEB" link.
NOTE: [credit: pbushff] the advantage to using the "Want to use the WEB" process is that if the promo code is not valid, the system will not process your airtime pin. This allows you to try again using a different promo code. There may be a limit to how many wrong/invalid/expired promo codes you can try before the system processes your airtime card anyway without adding any bonus. Recommend closing the window, clear browser cache, and starting fresh after any failed code... (ymmv) [credit: TorqueMaster]
tried codes 21480 300 min, 77578 300 min, and they did not work on 1 yr 400 min card on 2-13-2012.

Here is a link to the latest reply at the end of this thread.
TRACFONE (TF) CHANGED ITS POLICY SO THAT ANY AIRTIME CARD 60 MINUTES (UNITS) OR GREATER ADDS 90 DAYS OF SERVICE. BE AWARE THAT MOST CODES ARE ONLY ALLOWED ONCE PER PHONE!
For those Bonus Codes without notes indicating they are valid and/or have been used recently - try them at your own risk on the TF website using the STRONGLY SUGGESTED method of trying TWO (2) codes and if you get an "expired" or "not valid" message, then restart your browser and/or clear your cache and TF cookies then try 2 more, etc. Be aware that the term "not valid" DOES NOT mean the code is expired! Several of us have received this message, then later proceeded to successfully use the "not valid" code (not receiving that message the second time, either!).
Please leave notes next to the codes as to the results of your attempts. Many thanks!
Please make sure you ONLY LIST the BONUS minutes and do not add in the DMFL 'bonus'. For example if you have a DMFL phone and you use a bonus code NNNNN when purchasing a 60 minute card and get a total 90 minutes "bonus" the code is really only a 30 minute code. Please do not post it as a 90 minute code.

YOU CAN FIND A SCREENSHOT TUTORIAL OF HOW TO TEST BONUS CODESHERE
Days of service from a new airtime card are added to the days of service already on your TracFone. For example, if you have 10 days left and add an airtime card with 90 days of service, you'll have 100 days of service.
Add more minutes to your TracFone and they'll be added to the minutes already on your phone. For example, if you have 10 minutes left and add a 60 minutes card, you'll have a total of 70 minutes.
is cinco de mayo code 55698 still good? want confirm it before I add to summary. It isn't time for me to add min's yet. 20 bonus with 60 min card. says expired may 7,07. but many times they go beyond exp date.
Thanks for starting this OP, it's a great idea. I just wanted to point out here that I believe there is an advantage to using the "Want to use WEB" feature on Tracfone's website. This is from my personal experience, so someone please call me out on it if I'm incorrect here.
Anyway, the advantage to using the "Want to use the WEB" process is that if the promo code is not valid, the system will not process your airtime pin. This allows you to try again using a different promo code.
When you add airtime from your phone, on the other hand, the base airtime pin will automatically be added to your phone and if the promo code is invalid you simply get no bonus. You may be able to call Tracfone customer service to have a different code added but, really, who wants to do that?
Also, I assume it will be posted here when (if) the refer-a-friend program is reinstated?
We should also point out that Tracfone has recently changed its policy so that any airtime card 60 minutes or greater adds 90 days of service. If someone were unaware of this, they might incorrectly determine that a bonus code has added extra service, when in fact 90 days is the standard now.

My memory may be fuzzy, but I recall a different experience. If the bonus code is invalid when adding a card on the phone, the whole transaction fails, and you need to try again. So you can try another bonus code.
However, there is another benefit to using the web: There will often be an add-on offer that you can take at the time you add minutes (additional minutes or additional days of activation for a reasonable price, for example I have seen 60 days extra for $10). These offers are not very hot, but are reasonable.
The friend program is random I think. I was on the site about to enter a time card and bing, it went to the old referafriend stuff. And this wasn't that long ago either. So, be ready with some e-mail accounts generated beforehand in case you get to it too.
I just used the 51283 code while buying a 60 min. airtime card for $19.99. It worked for me and I got 60 extra minutes as well as the 90 days of extra service. I took advantage of their special offer of a year of service for $49.99, so I got 120 minutes of time and 455 days of service for $69.98. I'm not much of a cell phone user, just mostly have it for trips, so the 120 minutes probably won't be completely used up by August 2008. Great deal! Big thumbs up for the OP!
Hi I just used code 51268 like you said and got the 60min+ 60min+ added the 49.99 for a year of service and got 120 min 1 year + 90 days. and best yet it does it automatically now....no entering codes in phone. I live in woods with limited service so it is a pain . I bought on line and look at my phone and the minutes and year service was already there. Oh thank you so much. Carol

I spent time worrying about what code to use with my 60mn card: I was told later that I would have received 90mn extra, regardless.

On my Motorola C155 I tried using the same code a second time in the hopes the whole transaction would be cancelled. The 60 minute card was added, but of course no bonus minutes. Luckily I had a backup code to use, and a nice Tracfone CSR to allow me to use it.

Does anyone know if bonus codes also double with the "Double Minutes 4 Life" purchase? I don't really need minutes but will get them if the bonus mins double.
For some reason 51283 give me 170 bonus minutes. Maybe I join some other program for bonus before. I remember something like bonus once you add air time. The expiration is on 8/18/07 instead of 8/20 though. // NO COMPLAIN anyway.
Minutes Added 60 - Minutes 170 - Bonus Minutes
230 - Total Minutes
Service Days 90 - Days
90 - Total Days = New Service End Date of 8/18/2007
Is everyone doing this online? I tried using the 51283 code just now and it is telling me The Promotion Code you have entered is not valid. Is it over now? Or do I need to do it over the phone?
Maybe it's just me and my phone cuz it gave me the same response with code 56398.
Just used 55698 to add 20 bonus minutes with a 60 unit card. I already used 51283 the last time and the 56398 looks like its invalid with a 60 unit card.
51283 added 60 bonus minutes on a 60 minute card and the standard 90 days as of today, 5/24/07. I had to do the whole process on another phone with a CSR, since both the web method and the automatic phone method weren't working. It wasn't too bad, though, only took 2 minutes to complete.
I guess theses codes don't expire but are one time use only. Gonna use up all my cards up before they figure it out. Anyone have any other older codes for 60 unit cards.
Some older codes if you haven't used them. Good with 60 unit cards. 57676 - 0 bonus units 30 bonus days 90 days total (confirmed just used 5-24-07) 54604 - 30 bonus units (confirmed 5-24-07)
No cellphone bill till 2009...lol...still have two more card would like to find some bonus time codes.
I just signed up for tracfone recently, and got an extra 60 days (yes, until October!) and 140 minutes (instead of 60 minutes) using code 51283.
I was wondering -- how exactly does adding more phone cards work? For example, if I add a 60-minute phone card now, will it extend the activation 90 days from my current activation date, or will it just give me 90 days from today? If it extends my current activation date 90 days, then I'd like to add some more 60-minute cards right now, but if not, I'll just wait till later to add them.
It will extends your current activation date 90 days. I'd do it now before they figure out the expired codes are still active.

I am a new user and have very basic Q: how to use these promo codes? Do I have to buy any airtime to use these or can these be used indepedently?? Advice is appreciated.

I used this code today, 05-26-07, with a 90 minuted card and got 110 bonus minutes! Thanks for the tip!
Just purchased 6o minute card thru tracfone website. I used promo code 57676 and was offered extra airtime(30 days for $5 ) which I purchased. So, for $25 plus tax got 60 minutes and ~ 5 months (expiration date 10/25/07). Is interesting that tracfone is so exact with 30 days and not 1 month. I was more interested in the extra months service but it is good to at least get 6o extra minutes.

"I took advantage of their special offer of a year of service for $49.99"
Can I use this deal if I already have a card? Or is it only good if I purchase the card from them online?
Just added a new code to the quick summary, too bad it expires in two days.. anyway, tried code 51283 got a message that I already used it with this IMEI (atleast I now know why it's not working for me), tried code 54604..expired same for codes 54604 and 51268.
Plaidmoon said: I just used the 51283 code while buying a 60 min. airtime card for $19.99.
When did this special offer show up? After you added minutes? I didn't see it.
WooHoo! 51283 is STILL working as of today: 5/30/07. It only let me use this ONE TIME. It said Promotional code already used for this ESN/IMEI number as it would not let me reuse it IMMEDIATELY for a second card.
(NOTE: Others have since been able to reuse the code on later dates - as noted in their posts here.)
51283 added 60 bonus minutes on a 60 minute card and the standard 90 days.

Actually this offer for the buying an extra 30 days OR extra minutes is ALWAYS on the website as you buy and add on a new minutes card ONLINE. There is an ad on the RIGHT side of the webpage for adding more minutes and/or more airtime for $5 and/or $10.

And still working on the afternoon of 5/31/07. (I had never before used it on this particular phone.)
