Am I going to use the old phone number if I use the old SIM card?

Your sim card has all the account info, it cares not what phone it is in.

Read the Additional important information section. It says that "This rebate is for postpaid customers only; it does not apply to prepaid service".

On the form it says "T-mobie to GO Samsung"

Is the rebate going to be valid. I am not so sure about it going through.

I'd like to get Samsung T219, it looks a slick phone to me. It has these band freq: 850 MHz;1800 MHz;1900 MHz
I plan to use it on my trip to Asia which use 900/1800Mhz. So does it mean it I can use the phone as long as it has one of those band freq, 1800 Mhz

I know 6030 is unlockable since I'm using one right now but I need another phone that can do triband to work overseas.

Any advice?

Can T-Mobile price match to Target on samsung T329?
A free $25 card is decent.

This phone will never work on the 900 mhz.

Anyone else having trouble ordering? I got "Order Incomplete" 2 times, and when I contacted customer service they said they were canceling the orders but didn't explain why. Yet I have already been charged. I am very confused.

You have probably been blacklisted, have you bought from them before...
And they do hit your cc before they decide to not sell or ship.
The charge will fall off in 2 or 3 days.

Any feedback on the rebate. Is it going to work on the prepaid phone if you stay in service for more than 8 weeks. It is little confusing looking at the rebate form.

yesidonoitall said:usadaytrader said:yesidonoitall said:HeMan2 said:Do you know Mr "yesidonoitall" if you buy the Samsung stripe from tmo to go and fill out the $50 rebate form, well they honor it? or the instant rebate replaces the mail in rebate? the MIR is on their website.

OK, I found the rebate, you can try and send it in, it should work, but I did not read all of the terms.

Rebate form, if the link works

Thanks for the rebate form. It will work but they make you keep the service activated while they process the rebate so thats like 8 weeks of service you need to buy. Maybe too much work

RE:

I am assuming you are going to use your own Tmobile sim card.

The phone comes with the activation kit...
A Tmobile pre paid number, 35 minutes good for 90 days....
Just activate it (actually only the sim is activated, the phone comes ready to use with yourowm Tmobile sim)
Make one call as it says, or more, that sim does not need to stay in the phone....

Do the rebate.
I would but they won't sell me any more, and the ones I got from Targit and Walamart do not qulaify for the rebate.

In for one Motorola. No need for the radio feature and prefer not to have a camera. Great deal with FatCash and $25 card!

I would invest in the 41¢ stamp to find out.

um i don't get why it wouldn't be free...? it's just like listening to your mp3s on those itunes-enabled moto devices .
thing about the fm tuner on the 6101 and 6103 is, you need to attach a headset to be able to use the fm tuner. which is dumb, because i honestly don't think the tuner is actually on the headset itself, because i have attached non-nokia 3rd party cheapy headsets and the fm still works. but you need to attach SOMETHING.

anyway thanks op i noticed today that $25 card is up so i guess it's another backup phone for me! i hope this one is still unlockable, not like the 6030 i got as a backup a few months back (far - i actually got the rebate even though they sent a letter saying it was rejected - it just showed up in my mail about a month later).

oh and another thing, when i ordered a 6030 last time when they had it for 30 with 30 rebate, i tried ordering online and it didn't go through, so i had to use online chat to finish the transaction. but it worked in the end. this time though, it went through right away. same name, same billing/shipping address..
