This thing blows my fricken mind...I had to share it, it seems like a very solid price with free shipping from Amazon. I will get one once my house is complete!

The Robomower has the US market but I'm still leaning towards the LawnBott. Green for you simply because I hate to mow. I've had to do it ever since I was big enough to push the mower. My kids are going to get off lucky...

Robomower is exceptional! I bought one when it was on sale for less than $700, but the accessories are killing me though.

Really? Where? I see them on eBay from $700-900, but thought this was a good place to buy one from a retailer

I'm still using mine from Woot a couple of years ago. Love it. Battery life is getting weak though. I still enjoy watching it run around. Batteries are more than I paid for it but I'm looking at replacing them with a couple of DeepCycle Batteries that sound like they are about the same.

We have a 6 month old Pomarainian and she likes to watch it and follow it. The other day she grabbed one of her stuffed toys and dropped it in front of the mower. She jumped back and watched it schred the toy then ran around grabing the stuffing. I had to try and get it all picked up and away from her. She still drags around the toy less stuffing.

I wish they had these back when I was 10, my stepdad used to make me cut grass, oh how i would have loved to save the money to buy just to sit and sip lemonade and mock him while he got p'd off. oh I can just imagine it.if when we get to heaven and we can create a fantasy, this would be it. this is the same man that used to get in my face and scream so loud his spit would hit my face, all because i listened to one of his cd's. the day he perishes i will be salivating all day just so i cant spit on his grave.

red must be from steps. treat kids like they were your own blood, thats my advice.

Got it at Amazon. Price went up right after my order. BTW Amazon didn't mark it as on sale. I was afraid it was an error and worry about getting canceled. You don't know how glad I was when it appeared at my door. I still think it was a price error because no where on this planet has it for less than $1050 which is still a great great price. I've been eying this thing for years. It never came close to the current level until recently.

Uhhh....thanks!

Actually this is more than a toy for lazy asses like myself. If you are a senior or with disability, this thing can be a god send.

Also from a financial perspective, it pays for itself in no time. Using my case as example, I paid this mow and blow dude $150/month to mow my lawn. I break even in 5 months. After that, it just maintenance costs such as new blades and batteries which I hope will last at least 2 years.

So do you already have one...or are you getting one?

I got it, and it has become our new pet. My wife is at the moment making a windbreaker for it in case of unexpected downpour.

Do people have the 850, 800 or 1000? I would prefer the docking station to recharge - just like the newer Roombas I bought. That way you don't have to plug them in manually every time (like the old Roomba I bought). It is much simpler that way.

The Robomower with the docking station is $1599 right now at Amazon, but I'm waiting for that model to go sub-1000 before I buy, or buy the "superior" (from what I've read) Lawnbott.

850 here. The 800 are left over inventories. I have considered the 1000 but not only is the price not right, my lawn is mostly outside and around the house so it would be too much of thief bait if I let it dock outside. Also I heard you can upgrade the 850 to have a docking station.

I'm still using the RL500 I got from Woot 3yrs ago. My wife and I love it! Best $185 I ever spent. It's our only mower now, I don't know what I'd do if it ever died. Probably drop $1,049.99 on a new one I guess. It's worth it.

I just checked, Bamabot.com has the 850 and 1000 on sale for $999 and $1399.

Does this sneak into neighbors yard too?

No, it stays within the wires that you stake down on your yard. There is a perimeter switch that powers the wire and the mower stays inside of it.

I've been using the RL500 model for about 6 years now, love it!

I remember it was the first item on sale @ woot.com !

I want them to come out with one that can mow 6 acres in one shot, that would be great! Awesome mower though.
