If you don't "need" it now, it may be better to wait for the return of free $25 card.

Is there an "activation" fee for pay-as-you-go? In the "Submit order" screen it shows there is an activation fee of $35.

Edit: Nevermind. It says it is not applicable for T-Mobile To Go customers.

I had the same problem with my t509 order. The chat was useless, after a few minutes they just asked to call my phone and do some multiple choice background/identity questions to check for anti fraud purposes. Got my order approved and shipped in under 12 hours

Seems to be limit 2, even though not reference on the page. My order for 2 went through fine...my earlier attempted order of 3 did not go through.

ok.. i'm have a little difficulty understanding....

can this phone be unlocked???

alert mods

If anyone is interested I have the V195, reception is not as good as the Razr V3. But then again I get poor reception from Tmobile (New York), only the Razr V3 and Sony Ericsson W600 has held up with no dropped calls. For $35 its a great deal. Out of all the budget phones from Samsung, Nokia etc. I think the V195 looks the best and is most comfortable to use. Nice find OP.

I've had a V195 for about 5 months. I recently asked for and received unlock instructions from T-Mobile. See this.

Yep, worked for me as well. Just call Tmobile up and say you are going on a business trip/vacation and you want to use the phone abroad. It says 90 days but I called on the first week just to try it out and they emailed me the unlock code withing 24 hours.

I bought my V195 on eBay. I went through the unlock procedure that T-Mobile sent me but there was no "SIM Unlock" option on the final menu. There was just the option for "Browser Setup". I'm guessing that means it is already unlocked. I've asked T-Mobile but I haven't heard back.

Got one. Thanks OP. Good price for quad-band.
