High Speed Internet U-verse Enabled customers receive AT&T Wi-Fi Basic Subscriptions free of charge. FWIW, the u-verse program is now being rolled out in Connecticut so this restriction should no longer apply. I have my installation date set for the end of this month. |

I used this and when I changed to dry loop last week tech support at wifi said they were unsure if it is also free with dry loop accounts and they are waiting for an answer. It didn't wirk for me but my dry loop account is in nightmare status so that may be why. |

hot! $tarbucks is movie to AT&T wifi instead of the expensive tmobile. hot for those who have att dsl pro and elite as $tarbucks is everywhere! Starbucks Corp. is teaming up with AT&T Inc. and will start offering a mix of free and paid wireless Internet service in many of its U.S. coffee shops, beginning this spring.
The world's largest specialty coffee retailer's move ends a six-year partnership T-Mobile, which did not include free Wi-Fi and charged more than the new AT&T service will cost.
Starbucks said Monday it will give customers that use its Starbucks purchase card two hours of free wireless access per day. After that, it will cost $3.99 for a two-hour session. Monthly memberships will cost $19.99 and include access to any of AT&T's 70,000 hot spots worldwide.
Nearly all of AT&T's broadband Internet customers will automatically have unlimited free Wi-Fi access at Starbucks.
Current T-Mobile HotSpot customers, who pay anywhere from $6 per hour-long session to $9.99 for a day pass to $39.99 a month for unlimited access, will get Wi-Fi access at no extra charge through an agreement between AT&T and T-Mobile.

According to At&t's wifi website if you have 1.5 mb or faster service wifi is included with the account and there are no dry loop exclustions. That was in question for a while but now it seems clear that the wifi is included with the dry loop accounts that are 1.5 and above. If you call their wifi support number make sure yo don't press any buttons even pressing the option for wifi will send you off into AT&T lala land where you can never return. |
