Not always, some prices are higher at Costco.com because they include shipping and in-store prices vary by location. Also, some items at Costco.com are not sold in store and visa-versa. |

I've been buying stuff off of costco.com with my AMEX card for a while now. I'm not a member and I've never been charged the 5% surcharge. I've never had to type in a temporary membership number. Have other people been charged 5% if they used their AMEX? |

Dear Cop/Moderator Wannbes This seems to be an AMEX promotion not a scam by the op. Good Luck Gene Maybe so, but if you look at the HTML coding of OP's post, the link to Cosco serves as a Google Ad. Seems to me somebugy is making alot of dough on this thread... Below.
google_ad_region_start=op -->Use Costco membership number: 111775758538 Valid from June 27 - August 26, 2007. Since this is a promotion from American Express, you are required to use American Express card for the purchase.<!-- google_ad_region_end=op |

you can really take advantage of this membercard number. You can get finance on costco.com. But I dont know who will pay the money later, the AMEX or they will send to the shipping address.
Good luck. I just bought some staff online by this membercard number. Who will pay for it? Who knows? |

A trick for anyone who doesn't have or want to pay with AMEX: Do you know ANYONE who has EVER had a Costco card? You can use any member #, expired membership or not, in your name or not, and you avoid the 5% charge from Costco. Maybe this has changed, but I bought something less than 6 months ago with a friends expired number and everything went smoothly. |

can I use this gift card, say three months later in the store and not be charged the non-member surcharge??? Yeap. There's no penalty. I used the gift card to get into Costco to buy cheap food in my college days, and just refilled it or got another one from my parents. Only downside is that you don't earn the CashBack you'd get for normally using a Costco card. |

Oh! C'mon people. Lets talk some deals to be had from costco.com rather than tangential posts on how to shop at Costco B&M. Is there any good deals that would justify the shipping paid vs Instore/competitor stores? Somebody's gotta stop the Redbrigade 'cause that is making people post more of em'. |
