Is there any good deals that would justify the shipping paid vs Instore/competitor stores?

Somebody's gotta stop the Redbrigade 'cause that is making people post more of em'.

There are no deals at Castco, everything is so darn expensive.

This thread gets green just because it's coming from Costco.

Costco is the best. They really take care of their employees and their customers.

How much does a Costco employee make per hour?

LCD TV $999
Shipping $62
Tax $71
Total $1132

Not bad for 1080p

They should have this TV in the BM store. If you have a local Costco, you could get a Costco membership for less than the price of shipping.

Slightly off-topic buy a good "FYI". You can always use their pharmacy (in store) to get your meds EVEN IF YOU DON'T HAVE A MEMBERSHIP. Some consumer magazines have said they have some of the best prices, too.

Great Find OP. Thanks!

I guess install in-store will not be possible. I checked online and the Costco Tire purchase terms say - Costco will not perform services on tires purchased by non-members.

They volunteer for their services. Duh!

P.s. No need to be nosy.

The answer is $17/hour - which has received press b/c it is 40% more than WalMart.

Nia

You are wrong on that. If you have executive membership, you will get 2% from COSTCO separetly apart from what AMEX pays for using the card.

Don't know if this will work because Costco still checks for a Costco membership card.. the gift card is just the payment method (ie replacing an AMEX or Cash).

U can follow people into Costco, pretending u know them, but at the cashier, u still need your costco membership card.

Here is what's said on Costco Website:

Costco has created another convenient way for members to pay for their purchases: The Costco Cash card.

You must be a Costco member to purchase or reload Costco Cash Cards. Non-members may use the cash cards to shop in the warehouse or online. Costco Cash balances may be used toward membership or merchandise.

The costco cash card paid for with my Visa card arrived today.

I recently purchased an AC Unit from Costco.com and wasn't charged the surcharge. Upon further investigation, it seems they're not allowed to charge the surcharge in California, regardless of payment method, etc.

Visa makes a Visa/AMEX card. Weird.
