Flame Shields on -> don't reply in this thread on why the PS3 is not worth it, etc. Some people that are looking for a good ps3 deal, here it is. I would try the pricematch before it drops in price nationwide.
Seems pretty obvious from the link that it's hit and miss at different Targets. I'm guessing they'll be at $499 in all Target stores (and other stores for that matter) pretty darn soon.
IMO this isn't a hot deal. No one needs this today and since it'll be $499 everywhere VERY soon, I'd wait until a coupon of some sort will take more (maybe 10%) off.
Sony is trying to pump up sales. This is a way to get people to buy. For me it's not so much the price of the system, it's the price of the games. When games are $20 I might bite.

That's just the way it is. If you want $20 games, you'll be buying them later on from the old game bargain bin.

this "kid" is in school. the logic is that the old ps2 games are now $20 each (not all) and if you waited for games to be $20 you would buy the ps2 roughly around this time.
perhaps you also went to school but this "kid" probably attended/attending higher level of education...like college?
if you can not make the connection, maybe you should go to school more.

anyone bashing sony. quit doing it. since when did this forum turn into a threadcrapping festival anyway, if you have purchased a ps3 in the last 30 days - check the store you bought it ad. they may have a low price guarantee = $100+ tax refund
if you have purchased a ps3 in the last 60 days - check your credit card if you bought it that way. I hope to get $100+ tax back from a purchase with a citicard. the bonus is i got the cash to buy it free
