On 6/24 I bought a 5.15 lb tub from Amazon for $31 with free shipping with no hassles. its up to $38.71 when i checked today for some reason but maybe worth keeping an eye on in the future.

I dont know how does this post make it to hot deal!!!!!!!!!

The cheapest I found for the "Optimum Nutrition - 100% Whey Gold Standard Protein Vanilla - 10 Lbs" is $52.72 at:
http://www.luckyvitamin.com/748927028744.html
Shipping is $5.95
If you had a price matching going on - this would be a good place to start.

Yep, and luckyvitamin is reputable as well. I have placed Twinlab vitamin orders with them (as well as pricematched to them from Supplement Warehouse) multiple times and never had any problems.

With that said, what you found amounts to $58 shipped, which is still cheaper than what the OP found with all the pricematching and 5% off.

HOWEVER, you are absolutely right... pricematching to luckyvitamin would make the original post hot.

OP originally gave me a negative on my first post about his deal being "warm at best," but based on all these feedback, I can easily say I REST MY CASE.

There is a way to get free shipping with any order over $50 at VitaminShoppe. Check the official coupon code thread of VitaminShoppe.

Not of Optimum Nutrition. I went to order a 10lb bag of chocolate and prices are in the upper sixties now for it. I usually bought my stuff from DPSNutrition.com as they were always the cheapest. Go do a search and you will be knocked on your butt to find out how much they went up. They claim its the MFGR's and not the websites. If you do find one at $50ish PLEASE let me know because I am not spending upwards of $70 for protein...I'll just eat a lot of chicken...LOL

Look, I'm not threadcrapping. I drink this stuff DAILY, so I think other fellow members need to know when this isn't really all that hot (meaning there are BETTER deals RIGHT NOW!).

If I must research right now for you people, here goes:

VitaminShoppe has it for $63 for the 10lb bag:

http://www.VitaminShoppe.com/store/en/browse/sku_detail.jsp?id=OP-7210

+

The 20% coupon that is out right now: Code 9202 (Expires 7/25)

= HOT DEAL.

Add a few more items, and you got free shipping there too.

Again, I'm not saying this is a super cold deal, but face it, it really isn't that hot.

Vitacost.com - Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard Instantized Whey Protein Double Rich Chocolate -- 5.15 lbs - $27.15 -6% FatCash -5% off Coupon Code (WZ56ACB) + $4.99 shipping = $29.23

from a reputable fatwallet rated merchant.

IMO, this is the best deal out there right now for ON whey. For a few weeks, I searched high and low for the best deal online and this is it.

It'll be good to have a thread like this with the best up-to-date deals on supplements. This stuff goes fast when you're drinking 2-3 a day. Always lookin' for good protein deals...

If you have the jug/scooper and just want 10lbs of protein powder for 44.95 plus shipping:

Nutrapost

Vanilla flavor + OJ =

Nice, but:

1) Any personal experience ordering from here?
2) What's with the packaging? I'm used to the black packaging (for the past few years I've bought the stuff).

yup, it was protein...

In the process of making cheese, milk is acidified to a point where the casein precipitates. This process, called coagulation, produces curds (which eventually become cheese) and whey (the liquid portion that contains water, lactose and serum proteins).

There USED to be a way. Now there is currently no VIP pricing or lowering of the shipping.
I know because I just caved and bought the 10lb bag of ON this last Monday.

$56.18 including the lowest shipping

Thank u for this thread! I just went to VitaminShoppe.com and ordered

3 5.15 ON Gold Natural Whey Protein tubs for 34.99 = 104.97
Applied coupon 9202 for 20% off $50 = -20.99
Used Free super saver shipping (for orders >$99)
TN tax = $6.93

Final cost = $90.91 ($30.30 per 5.15 tub)

I've been searching the web for a week (since Amazon raised their prices), and this is by far the best deal out there. I can't hold out any longer hoping for the GNC $26/tub prices to return.

I tried to price match this to SW last week but it turns out that nutripost is a dead website... so no price match. I ended up buying the 10 lbs bags from luckyvitamin (quicker shipping because it's closer to CT).

I'm no bodybuilder, but I crossfit, what's the point of drinking this stuff? Can't you just eat a bunch of protein and get the same benefit without spending $30 on a can of powder?

Convenience and protein without the other stuff.

should've done SW for the extra 5% off on top of that discount and stacked it with their current $5 discount code; would've been $67.85 shipped or about $22.62 per 5.15 tub.
