I'm not sure, but it appeared that the $25 is a post-card purchase. At the first transaction, the total came just short of $25 (something like $24.73) after my Waldbaum's card was scanned, and the $10 bonus coupon didn't print. So I added another poptart to go over $25 in total. (The poptarts are on sale at 3 for $5, and I first put 15 in the cart, so the total was supposed to be exactly $25. However somehow one poptart scanned $1.40, so the total ended up just below $25.)

If the coupon prints after the payment, one has no way of knowing whether it is pre- or post-card until he/she actually tests the pre-card option. Is Waldbaum's coupon deal usually based on pre-card price? I'm new to this store so have no idea. Maybe I'll try that possibility in the next deal. For this particular deal, however, it appears to be post-card according to their ad. It says: All purchases must be made in one transaction with "club card". That *might* mean the post-card price is already assumed in this deal. I don't know... We may never know until someone actually tries...

If it is pre-card, it is really a fantastic deal! Maybe I'll go for another round before the sale ends if someone can verify it. When I was shopping at Meijer, Kroger in Midwest before, nearly all the coupon/catalina deals were post-sale, post-card based, so I'll be pleasantly surprised if Waldbaum's goes with pre-card.

If Waldbaum's (owned now by A&P) operates anything like ShopRite, the club card is probably required to participate in the deal which would by default make it a post-card price deal. You still need to buy 10 items of Kellogg's to submit the $10 MIR, so in the end it may just be better to get more items for a lesser cost to qualify for the rebate in addition to the $10 bonus money. YMMV of course.

And Stop & Shop uses a card too, and many people here will tell you that their deals are always pre-card. As I said, I did the Unilever deal at A&P a few months ago and it was DEFINITELY based on pre-card prices.

i didnt get a rebate form in my paper. was it in the smartsource? i didnt get it in nw ohio. anyone else NOT get the form in their paper? are there any restrictions saying not valid in ohio by chance?
