I did this deal at my local Waldbaum's in Bayside NY where they are giving $10 bonus money for the next shopping order when you buy $25 in Kelloggs. Combining with multiple of coupons in the TASTE magazine, I ended up with the followings after two separate transactions:
16 Kellogg's Pop tarts 8 Kellogg's Rice Krispies Treats 4 Keebler Chocochip cookies
$36.63 Total paid today -$10x2 Waldbaum's Bonus bucks -$10x2 Kellogg's mail-in rebates --------------------------------- -$3.37 (profit) Final
I also did CVS Kraft deal and got below items for $20 and received $20 in CVS Extra Care Bucks.
2 Post cereals 3 Ritz Crackers 3 Saltine Crackers 1 Kraft Easy Mac 1 Velveeta
I'm all set for my snacks in the next several months. Thanks, OP.

I am pretty sure that the $25 is pre-card, which can make it an even better deal.

I'm not sure, but it appeared that the $25 is a post-card purchase. At the first transaction, the total came just short of $25 (something like $24.73) after my Waldbaum's card was scanned, and the $10 bonus coupon didn't print. So I added another poptart to go over $25 in total. (The poptarts are on sale at 3 for $5, and I first put 15 in the cart, so the total was supposed to be exactly $25. However somehow one poptart scanned $1.40, so the total ended up just below $25.)

If you have a Nob Hill, Raley's or Bel Air market, they have Eggo 4 for $5, Rice Krispies Treats 3 for $4.98.
$5.00 for 4 boxes Eggo waffles or pancakes $9.96 for 6 boxes Rice Krispies Treats -1.00 coupon for buying 2 Eggo -1.00 coupon for buying 2 Rice Krispies -10.00 MIR
$2.96 for 10 boxes
My newspaper had extra coupons, so I got another $2 off.

I ended up spending $26 post-card just because I did not want to take any chances. With coupons it was $20, then I got a $10 OYNO coupon, and the $10 rebate. Not better than free, but at least it was free.

If the coupon prints after the payment, one has no way of knowing whether it is pre- or post-card until he/she actually tests the pre-card option. Is Waldbaum's coupon deal usually based on pre-card price? I'm new to this store so have no idea. Maybe I'll try that possibility in the next deal. For this particular deal, however, it appears to be post-card according to their ad. It says: All purchases must be made in one transaction with "club card". That *might* mean the post-card price is already assumed in this deal. I don't know... We may never know until someone actually tries...

I did not have the time to try it today so I just bought the extra stuff (and if you ask the employees they'll all tell you it's post-card). Stop & Shop deals are always based on pre-card prices.

If it is pre-card, it is really a fantastic deal! Maybe I'll go for another round before the sale ends if someone can verify it. When I was shopping at Meijer, Kroger in Midwest before, nearly all the coupon/catalina deals were post-sale, post-card based, so I'll be pleasantly surprised if Waldbaum's goes with pre-card.

Bill,
If Waldbaum's (owned now by A&P) operates anything like ShopRite, the club card is probably required to participate in the deal which would by default make it a post-card price deal. You still need to buy 10 items of Kellogg's to submit the $10 MIR, so in the end it may just be better to get more items for a lesser cost to qualify for the rebate in addition to the $10 bonus money. YMMV of course.

YMMV of course.I had to buy 12 items to get to $25 post-card, so I could have bought a couple of less items and still gotten the rebates. And Stop & Shop uses a card too, and many people here will tell you that their deals are always pre-card. As I said, I did the Unilever deal at A&P a few months ago and it was DEFINITELY based on pre-card prices.

i didnt get a rebate form in my paper. was it in the smartsource? i didnt get it in nw ohio. anyone else NOT get the form in their paper? are there any restrictions saying not valid in ohio by chance?
rbraden said: GiggleGreen said: I did this at Walgreens today. This works out really well with the Walgreens Register Rewards and coupons from this Sunday's paper.
FYI- Everything must be made in a single transaction.Example? All prices are for Walgreens in Staten Island (YMMV). Here is what I bought: 4 boxes of Special K for $10 ($5 checkout coupon, 2 * $1 off 2 boxes mfr. coupon) 4 boxes of Nutri-Grain Cereal Bars for $10 ($5 checkout coupon, 2 * $1 off 2 boxes mfr. coupon) 2 boxes of Pop-Tarts for $4 ($1 checkout coupon, $1 off 2 boxes mfr. coupon)
- total comes to $19 - got $11 worth of checkout coupons ($5 + $5 + $1) - will submit $10 Kellogg's rebate (for 10 items in single transaction)
in the end should even make some money: $24 - $5 - $11 - $10 + .41(postage stamp) = -1.59 (this is actually profit)
Also in Waldbaum's (Staten Island) Bought: 4 boxes of Frosted flakes for $10 (2 * $1 off 2 boxes mfr. coupon) 4 boxes of Rice Crispies for $8 (2 * $1 off 2 boxes mfr. coupon) 4 boxes of Kellogg's Fruit Snacks for $6 (2 * $1 off 2 boxes mfr. coupon) 2 boxes of Eggo's for $4 ($1 off 2 boxes mfr. coupon) 2 boxes of Keebler Townhouse crackers for $4
total comes to $32 - $7 = $25 got $10 checkout coupon (for $25 worth of Kellogg's products - store promotion) will submit $10 rebate (for 10 items in single transaction)
final price should be $32 - $7 - $10 - $10 + .41(postage) = $5.41 for everything
