As I've not had a chance to keep up with this list as well as I would like; however, I do not wish to close the thread so I have decided to try a new approach which will hopefully keep the games list up to date as it will now be a living breathing document which anyone can update. I have taken the games list and moved it to the quick summary section of the page and therefore all links formatting etc will remain but it allows anyone and everyone to edit the list. If you see something missing or that needs changed, simply click on edit and make the appropriate changes. Once saved it will be available for all to see. If you have any issues PM me.
I will still be checking in on this thread so if I see the list being abused I will close the thread

Viva Pinata is definitely worth it. Rabbids I was tempted to buy till a friend told me the camera controls are a bit wonky at best. At $20 it's hard to pass up. It's $20 at BB in store as well for a while now. Too bad they don't have those "gaming" gift card coupons anymore.

I agree; Viva Pinata is a great game; it didn't sell as well as it should have but I think many overlooked it because they figured it was geared for children. While it's easy enough for a child to sit and play, and the bright colors and animated pinatas will keep them interested for a long time to come; but at the same time it offers enough depth that even adults love this game. It's not one of those where you need to spend hours just learning controls and the level to which you take the gameplay is entirely up to you...the game ramps up at the speed you want it to...
Note on VP: If you have someone [in my case a S.O.] who thinks the xbox isn't for them sit them down with a control and Viva Pinata this game will change their mind. We've now grown to a 2 xbox house thanks to VP
I personally haven't played Rayman, but I picked it up on sale for ~$30 awhile ago and my SO has been playing it. I can safely say that if it's anything like the original for the Sega Genesis then this game will provide me with many hours of gameplay.
As far as Star Wars; I picked this one up awhile ago after hearing glowing reviews; myself personally I didn't get much into it. I still have it sitting around and am waiting for a raining day to give it another try.

You need to play this as co-op (it's instant drop-in/drop-out so no huge commitment). It's my girlfriend's favorite game as she can shoot everything and collect coins. There are about a dozen spots in the game where someone needs to drop out for 30 seconds because the camera gets stupid and she just doesn't play any of the ship levels, but other than that, it's a blast for us. It's got huge replay value. We played through 4 times and still only 96% complete (they keep track of this too).
LEGO Star Wars III is coming in November which is just I + II with I being upgraded to II's superior quality plus an extra level. This is a must purchase for me, but I think most people will be satisfied with II especially if they didn't like the prequel movies.
LEGO Batman and LEGO Indiana Jones are going to be awesome if they are anything like LEGO Star Wars II X360.
Most of them are regular priced at $19.99 everywhere. If you are going to buy only 1 game, you can get some of them about the same price and free shipping at deepdiscount.com

Thanks for taking the time, Op! I'm in for Viva Pinata w/ prime. Always appreciate when someone is willing to do the leg work to make sure I'm broke... anyone up for a change to the logical "emptywallet.com"?

I like the idea of emptywallet...Gotta say though without FW I'd still be busted and have alot less stuff. FYI, list has been updated again. Thanks everyone.

I might hold off on buying Raving Rabbids if you plan on getting a Wii. This is one of the best game for the Wii. LEGO Star Wars, maybe hold off on this one too as LEGO STAR WARS: THE COMPLETE SAGA will be coming out later this year. It has both SW 1-6 on one disc plus extra characters and levels. Table Tennis is terrific.
I've played the XBox 360 and Wii versions and the Wii version is the best in terms of gameplay. Even though you can use the camera with the XBox 360 version, it still isn't as responsive as the Wiimote.

I'd recommend renting the XBox 360 version...
When I bought Rayman I was actually looking to get it for the Wii since there aren't that many games out I'm interested in playing; but the price was half for the 360 version is what got me to buy it.
Thanks for the positive review of the Wii version; maybe I'll get it from GameFly sometime to just check it out.
