as an update to this thread...so here is how to get the sweetest price for this TV...

Sign up for the 15% discount coupon here. (you will have created a Sears user account). Now go through fatwallet and click the Sears link for the 5% FatCash reward. Log in to your My Sears account and order the TV for 1149. Call back in 2 days, mention you had signed up for the 15% coupon and were hoping the CSR could apply that discount to the order you already made. If you are nice and lucky (YMMV...) then the CSR can apply that 15% discount to your order making the grand total: 1149 - 5%*(1149) - 15%*(1149) = $914 + tax if you do store delivery...[yes you can double count the 1149 deal, because both discounts were applied to that full 1149 price].

These calculations are done for the 77U...you could obviously go cheaper on the 75U...This worked great for me, hope it works for you.

Edit: just to clarify, there is no code so nothing that can be given away. It is specific to your Sears account. But some people have had success getting the 15% discount applied immediately after signing up by calling customer service after placing the order.

There is a link in the coupon email they send you. However, I was successful in calling Sears.com and getting them apply the coupon to the order I had already made, through fatwallet :-D

i signed up for the Sears coupon on monday too...but i am still waiting for it.. i hope it will come soon.

you think the 77U or the 75U will run out?

Yes, the prices went up almost 200 dollars today. And like I have said, you can just call and have them apply the coupon to your account even though you may have not physically received it in the mail yet.

77U was 1299.99...but somehow it was 1150 for hte past two days
and todya it's back to 1299.99

Do you think we can stack this wiht the Sears card instant rebate offer?

Yes... and the $150 off if you use your Sears card is showing again... I just called my local Sears and they told me about the Sears card special before I asked about it... also... I have not received my 15% off coupon but the rep told me he would give me a form making the 15% off kick in when I receive the coupon ... Total before taxes on the 77u... $870.00!!!

How would you get both coupons to work? Would you order with the 5% CashBack coupon and then call the Sears.com CSR and have them apply the 15% off coupon and $150 off at the same time? Anyone get it for <$900 please share the details. TIA.

It worked perfect for me. I ordered through the fatwallet link, getting 5% off. I then called the CS reps for Sears.com 2 days later and told them I hadnt received my 15% coupon yet but I had signed up for it. She applied it right over the phone...easy as it gets
