MysticMan1 said:Or try this use the fat Cash Back 5% Sears link to go to Sears.com, then add the item to your cart, next copy the 15% link from the Sears email into the open browser address bar then chick it, your item will still be in the cart, and you will see the 15% off as you checkout. No guarantee that this will get you the 5% cask back, but it's worth a try. Sorry, but that won't work. FW links to the original session ID it gave you when you clicked through to Sears and expects your purchase to complete on that session. By later clicking through the email link you now have a different session ID used to complete the purchase. You will NOT receive the FatCash credit for the purchase. However, you *might* be able to do it the otherway around -- since the 15% off might be stored as a cookie or just part of the shopping cart, then clicking through FW will give you the correct session ID. Also note that you can get 5% back through Discover, but that also requires a linked session ID, so the FW deal is better than Discover (if you use Discover anyway) since you'll get 5% FC + 1% normal Discover CashBack that way. |

ScAndal At the bottom of most pages is a column titled "Help", use the "Contact Us" link under that. From there use the "Email Us" link in the middle of the page. I would paste links here, but the links have your session ID embedded in them. |

I signed up for the offer with the link at about 1:30 PM Central time today. At 3:40 PM I had the welcome mail, but NO 15% offer link inside. Just a normal link with it's own session ID that did not provide 15% off regardless of anything I put in the cart. It just too me to the home page, nothing special. So either they send a separate email with 15% or they screwed up. The sign up page indicates it's included with the welcome mail, but it was not in my case. |

I took all my printouts to a local Sears store hoping they would be able to do this in store. but nope, they did not bite. asked me to continue to order it online only. there are two things that I'm apprehensive about. I tried to order the 50" through the link, and the discount did not show up, then, ,later in the day, I tried to order and the discount did show up. towards the end of the day, i tried again and the discount did NOT show up. reason i didn't order when I had the chance ---> I do not have a Sears credit card. at the last screen, it does give me the option of applying for a card but if the approval is not instantaneous, then how will I be able to complete my order? also, when u add the tv to the cart, it automatically deducts $250. has anyone tried to order it at this price or using the 15% off coupon and a mastercard/visa instead? also, if I do apply for a Sears CC, how will the system know if I want 2 yrs no interest or $250 offf? this is a tough one... |

I believe everyone has said that they get 2 emails.... one that welcomes you instantly (or nearly so) and then the later 15% off email. It's 7 days for me, and no 2nd email. Still hopeful. |

no dude, this is not at all tough. as per your name, you're just going to be one greedy fat chick who ends up with nothing. drop that Sears card b.s. and just buy the dang thing. nobody wants to continue hearing daily saga of indecision 2007. gordita said:I took all my printouts to a local Sears store hoping they would be able to do this in store. but nope, they did not bite. asked me to continue to order it online only.

ok hopefuls. let's rehash this: there are no links, coupons, printouts, hallelujahs that come with this 15% off. IT"S HARD-CODED TO THE EMAIL ACCOUNT YOU CREATED AT SIGN UP. That is why you can link from FW and get that extra 5%off. That is also why there's no sharing, selling etc. (actually you could but that's for the enterprising). the coupon can be used multiple times but it will die at some point. i bought stuff on the 11th, and up till this morning i could still get the discount. it has however died even though my 2nd email stated an expiry date of August 14. (they only give you about a week from the 2nd email to use the coupon). Anybody having trouble PMing in store, make sure you print THIS page out. 2nd Paragraph: "If you find a lower price (including shipping, handling and delivery) on an identical branded item with the same features currently available for sale and delivery in your area from a local retail store's online site, Sears will match that total price Plus, give you 10% of the difference. Just print the ordering page, including shipping, handling and delivery, and bring it to your Sears store at the time of, or within 30 days after, your purchase. If you are purchasing the item from Sears.com, email the information to order@customerservice.Sears.com." I had to show it to them in order for them to do it. I dont think they even knew that they had that policy. |

Couldn't you buy this at Circuit City, and do a PM to Sears? This week, CC has it for $1750; Sears has it for $1450. So couldn't you do a PM and then get the TV at CC for $1750-$300-$30(10% price difference)= $1420? Then use a coupon after they agree to the PM and get it for even cheaper? |

Circuit City considers Sears an online store? Where I live, the Circuit City store and Sears store are only about 5 miles apart. I figured the PM plus a coupon would be a stretch- but I read somewhere on here that people have done it before. I figured it might be worth a shot, but only if the PM gets done first. Has anyone sucessfully PM'ed to Sears when buying something at Circuit City? |

Has anyone sucessfully PM'ed to Sears when buying something at Circuit City? I was at CC yesterday looking at the TV and mentioned the price to the employee and his manager approved it. I didn't buy it as I am still deciding between this and a Samsung but he told me the pricematch would be good through the end of the week. |

i'd definitely would have bought with cc pricematch for their free delivery - you do NOT want to be picking this up at the store unless you're a glutton for risky behavior or just about to be institutionalized.
