Actually the movies are free after any hd player so cant really be counted if you were to buy the hd anyway.

I see your point. Changed

Thanks

Not hot. I would value the Elite at no more than $405 since it can be bought today (and every day) with 10% coupon at Target for that price. That leaves you $195 for the HD DVD and 300...the HD DVD has been posted a bit over $150 several times. This represents very little, if any, savings.

Most people will get FREE shipping and NO TAX! Did you figure that in?

I guess it's moderately warm if and only if you were going to buy all 3 things anyway.
Removed my red based on your cogent argument, but still no green from me

Not giving red or threadcrapping, but less than 10% savings doesn't really qualify as hot unless I'm missing something here.

If you were to do the Target deal you would pay tax most likely of $31 or more. If you add in the other items and the tax it would come to $660 or more depending on the tax percentage, I didn't even figure in shipping if their is any for Target. The Amazon deal is $599.99 shipped and no tax most places so a $60 saving compared to the Target deal.

To each their own. If it works for you, great, if not, then have a great day!

You only save a few bucks than Target(using 10%) from the tax and gas to get there.

Then coming back home with nothing because the coupon doesn't work in store, add that to the savings I guess. Oh well, I guess people will find the deal here instead.

cold like my feet right now

Umm, the 10% Target savings for opening a CC NEVER gets denied.
Nor does the 10% off coupons you get for spending $1000 on their CC.

It's a decent deal at Amazon.
