During the Maxtor clearance blowout a few months ago the price in the computer was higher than the price at the register because of "Instant Savings". airtommy is right, just pick 1 in Staples near my home. I talked to the people and they couldn't find it in the computer. So I just walked around, and I I found them on the table marked "clearance". The price is $63 something ( this was why I think few people took it, since orig. price $83 something), I took 1 to register and checked out it was $45.50, when I decided to buy, the register told me it was 35.50 (after 10.00 IS), and i had 3 coupon (from the inks), so I got another 9.00 discount. That is good deal! It is black enclosure, cool looking, only thing is the USB cable came with it is less than 1 ft, need a USB extension cable if you don't have USB port in front. |

60GB 2.5" external drives seem to have been cleared out of stores for awhile now. Everything starts at 80GB, unless you get lucky and find something that rolled under a table.Guess what SickTeddyBear, many of us are finding MULTIPLES of this 60GB passport instore and I personally have left several for others to enjoy. When using the $10 off $20 from OM, it really becomes sweet. Thanks for the heads up dantheman1188! |

Which Norwalk store? On Rt. 1? The store near the Wilton border (in the WalMart shopping center) had a sale sign on the shelf showing the lower price, but that shelf was empty (when I was there yesterday, at least)... |

I went to Staples today and saw the last 60GB drive, but when I brought to the register and price was $49.50, and casheir said the sale was over on 9/2, could not make it $35.50 like before. |

about time that dropped. most were cleared out around here @ $249.50, they were completely gone @ $199.50 That has to be the final price or at least next to last, there are 4 left in my area (1 each at 4 diff stores) and I bet they're all returns or "being sent back to the manufacturer". DSC-W30 is due for a drop soon, $110.50 is too much right now. |
