I purchased the Model 770 from Home Depot on April 13, 2007 and used once it shortly after purchase and it seemed to work fine, easy to extend and retract. Recently I tried to use it again and it is now very hard to extend or retract. After getting it to extend I inspected all the vertical tubes looking for corrosion, scratches, dents or bends - everything looks as new. The ladder seems to be too tight and won't allow air to exit or enter as needed. It seems like it would be a very good ladder for what it is designed for but I have no idea why it has become so difficult to extend or retract so I will be returning it soon. Hope this helps and Good Luck! |

bought two of these yesterday. Got additional 10% off as well since they had sign up "10% off all ladders". Bowie, MD store had them marked $44.50, $40.00 + tax out the door. Tried it today, works great. Left one at Bowie store. |
