Wouldn't call it useless, but a sku would be helpful.

Looks like one of those gimmicky items they sell on Sat morning 1/2 hour commercials.

Hillarious!

Anytime the phrase "Kevin is moving so he's okay." is incorporated in QVC, its gotta be good.

Telesteps knock off, with "improvements"?

I have the Telesteps - AWESOME ladder. Supper lightweight, so easy to carry around the house, through in the trunk of the car, etc.

Freaking hilarious!!!

I loved what the lady said, "...ya'know, it's a very slippery floor up there in front of our door..."

Ya, sure it's the floor's problem! The guy wasn't on the floor. If anything, she should have said, "...ya'know, it's very slippery up on these ladders, and I guess we shouldn't have been doing shots right before this take." Man I wonder how many ladders they sold after this mishap.

I figure it was the stress of the camera. People do all sorts of weird crap, even apparently seasoned demo people. You know, they do things with more ooomph like trying to fly up and down the ladder at 100 mph.

I need a ladder about this height, but I'm paranoid that one of the locks is going to break. Any input on what they are made out of, how strong they seem, etc?

Thanks Sueyko !

I posted the $38 folding fiberglass ladder but really need one of these which are much lighter.

Unfortunately, I haven't noticed these in metro Atlanta stores. That sku number is showing up as invalid at a couple of stores so maybe it's regional.

The sku number is invalid

I can confirm the sku is correct at 537238.

If there is anything you DO NOT want to skimp on, it's an extension ladder. You can save a few bucks towards the wheelchair you will need when you fall.

My two local Home Depots can't bring up the SKU. Maybe it is only valid in a particular region.

I'm a painter and I've had one of these for a few years. It's a great ladder. I find it very sturdy, easy to get in and out of tight spaces (hallways, stairs).

If anyone else other than the OP has found these, please post where. TIA

I purchased the Model 770 from Home Depot on April 13, 2007 and used once it shortly after purchase and it seemed to work fine, easy to extend and retract. Recently I tried to use it again and it is now very hard to extend or retract. After getting it to extend I inspected all the vertical tubes looking for corrosion, scratches, dents or bends - everything looks as new. The ladder seems to be too tight and won't allow air to exit or enter as needed. It seems like it would be a very good ladder for what it is designed for but I have no idea why it has become so difficult to extend or retract so I will be returning it soon.

Hope this helps and Good Luck!

I read on the internet to use Pledge, yes Pledge as a lubricant. Found mine at MD home depot.

bought two of these yesterday. Got additional 10% off as well since they had sign up "10% off all ladders". Bowie, MD store had them marked $44.50, $40.00 + tax out the door. Tried it today, works great. Left one at Bowie store.
