it may look like it, but it's still a lot better than your basic WalMart brand, imho

but my fav's are not on sale; IMHO the more expensive "running" type ones are a bit pointless because if you ask me, running for a long time in ANY sandles is for sh#t, unless you're a roman soldier or something

Thanks, just PM-ed a pair of Trail Wraptor Leathers at Zappos. Brought them down to $39.99 with no tax and free overnight shipping. Not bad for $100 Tevas.

thanks op!

The match is 110%, which is better than FatCash anyway.

Not pointless if you do a lot of walking in warm weather. Tevas are very well constructed and extremely comfortable and easy on the feet.

Thanks, leenga

I couldnt decide between the Kena and the Elina so I picked up one of each

Thanks OP, wished you would have put the mens sales links or women's in your title. Found it anyway thanks to Dotbody's help. Ended up buying a pair of the Too Mush for $14.95. Can't beat that.

REI still has some men's Teva mush flip flops from the .83 sale (in size 10 and up): $6.83

canydavid said:xpguy said:kinda OT, but is Teva pronounced:
1. Teeeeva (long e sound)
or
2. Teva (short e sound)

I heard a shoe salesman said #1 when I always thought it was #2, I figured maybe I might have been pronouncing it wrong all this time...or does the salesman not know what he's talking about and making himself look ridiculous, or maybe both ways of pronouncing it is acceptable?

EDIT: checking the website of the company looks like #2, but then again, maybe #1 is also acceptable? like tomato tomato, potato, potato?
The name from the Hebrew word for nature, which would be pronounced teh-va (short e).

-cd

Crap, I've always said it wrong myself then

Hebrew isn't english, where vowel consonant vowel = hard first vowel. So it's 'Teeva'.
BTW, it's also aye-sus and not aye-zeus for ASUS.

Hate Teva.Still smarting from that running shoe scam they pulled earlier this year(May 2007).They ran a sale and then cancelled hundreds of orders, then a couple days later the show was back at full price, before some people even read their cancellation notices.

i just wanted for you guys that didn't know. I bought my first pair of the Teva mush flip flops this year, and they are the best pair of flipflop i have ever owned. I paid $20 for them, and they are very comfortable compared to others, especially walking for a long time. Picked up another pair for next summer.

How does the shoe size compare? I buy 8.5 (EUR 41) and I don't see these at all. I don't know if I should get 8 or 9.

Those Europe-USA shoe conversion charts are inaccurate.I had to return a pair of Doc Martens last year because of it.

You should get 10. My Euro is 8.5 and I get 10.

Nice! In for a pair of men's!

Appears most of these are also available (same price) through Amazon (you are buying through 3rd party--Teva, so no Amazon prime)...don't get FatCash doing it this way, but I had Amazon gift certificate balance to spend, so I did it anyway...free shipping just like on Teva's site...just search for "Teva Wraptor" or whatever model you are interested in on Amazon and you'll probably find it (make sure you are buying from Teva and not a different 3rd-party though)...

Note on the Mush Flip Flops, stock up on the 2006 models if you really like them. They completely ruined the 2007 version. They removed almost half of the sole so they are no longer soft and mushy. I compared the new 2007 pair to a brand new 2006 pair and they are about 1/2" less thick. The easiest way to tell the difference is the old design has Teva spelled out on the tag by your big toe, the new version just has the Teva logo.

Here is my email to Teva Customer Service: (I can't believe I actually complained but these were my favorites)

Subject: 2007 Teva Mush (or lack of)

The Mush flip flop as been my favorite and I currently have bought almost a dozen pairs in the last 4-5 years. While on vacation last month I picked up a fresh pair at LL Bean. I have to say that I am so disappointed that you have complete ruined the flip flop. I’m not sure if you changed manufactures or just had to cut costs but there is no more mush to the mush. The new model is now thinner than my very first pair that is 4 or 5 years old. It’s just a shame.

I just wanted to let you know what a good product you HAD and what a lousy product it has become.

Thanks, I bought 1 of each color in hard to find size 14- with shipping about the same price as here.
Now, if they just come, unlike my previous order from REI .83.
