its great for what it does, but its unreliable (crashes) which requires resetting when playing. its best feature of course is its battery and stereo in. the speaker quality is very good, so you can feed your ipod into this and watch a movie and kids are happy with great sound quality.
So far, my Philip refurb experience had been quite good. Got a Stereo for $20 which worked excellently. I also bought Shoqbox a little while ago, never had a problem after doing a firmware update. Never had to reset it.

Jumped on it, thanks a lot. I had a topic alert for this for a year.
So far so good with Philips Outlet for me. I also got this last year for the same price shipped. I thought it was DOA but turn out I didn't push the reset button hard enough very hard to tell but eversince, there is no problem.
Also got 2 MP3 player a while back from them (Retail for $300+) got them for $20/each shipped. They sound excellent with a very good headphone and tons of accessories....
Just got the 50" plasma from there and also no issue 1 month+ now....

Any one get this to work on xp with windows Media Player 11 installed? Tech support tells me there is a conflict and even if you install their version of Music match 9 ( I already had 10), it conflicts with WMP 11 and you can't transfer music unless you uninstall WMP 11!
I had this problem and didn't know what was going on. I had to find an old PC with the old Media Player and then it works fine. Let me know if you find a workaround. I like this product and have had it for over a year. It sounds great.
