This baby gym has been on sale for several months at BabyCenter.com -- I bought it about 5 months ago. My son enjoyed it as a little baby and was still willing to watch the lights and mirror at 5 months. Of course he managed to break a fabric tie that connects the arches to the playmat by repeated kicking, so he hasn't used in it a few weeks. Overall, it's a fun gym for the price if you have the space and want one for a young baby to enjoy. It's a bit limited for older babies though. I find the song at the beginning of the music loop annoying, and there's a creepy woman's voice (the same one that sings the opening song) that occasionally breaks into the end of a classical music snip. On the plus side, the music is unusually clear for a baby toy and you can turn the mobile on without the music.
Also, it has very little paint at all -- one eye on a dangling toy is all that I can see that's painted. Everything else is either colored plastic, fabric, or a sticker.
That was the first thing that went through my mind since this is 80+% chance made in china. I am a parent of a 1yr old and I worry about lead in his toys. For the record though it doesn't look like this toy is associated with any recalls. I don't even think fisher price has any lead reacalls...yet...
That being said good find op, mines a little to old for it, enjoy for those that do pick it up.
