No further verification was needed on my install. They emailed my EDU mailbox with the key, and I used that during the install, and that was all that was needed.

Seems like a good deal. I wonder how much better they've gotten about limiting the # of installs you can do. My copy of Office 2003 has been installed at least 20 times on six or seven different computers. At first, it just went through no problem. Later, you'd have to call a toll free number to activate, but after telling them I had a virus issue or a new hard drive or (insert excuse here) they'd activate it for me. I've never had them refuse to activate my Office 2003 software.

I did a clean upgrade to Vista and reinstalled/reactivated the copy I purchased via this thread. No problem.

I bought this back in September, and HP is doing a laptop replacement for me.. How do I install it on my new laptop? When I pull up my order, it doesn't let me see what the product key was, anyone have any ideas, when I call they aren't helpful either.
