Microsoft Office 2007 Version Comparison
NOTE: Requires a valid e-mail address at a "higher education" institution in the US and 0.5 course hour workload or more. (Hot for those who can't get it from their university bookstore for cheaper.) Also, requires you to download the Office 2007 Ultimate trial software (or order a physical DVD for "a small charge") and then activate with product key that you get from your $60 purchase.
*** If you want to order the DVD, do NOT place your order yet. Their ordering process does not allow you to order the DVD, and there is a possibility that you won't be able to order the DVD if you've already ordered as a software download! ***

REQUIREMENTS: Per Microsoft's detail page you must be able to provide proof of enrollment status (ie, student card) upon request by Microsoft.: "Microsoft or an appointed vendor may contact you to verify that you are a current student. If documentation is not provided indicating that you are a current student, you will be liable to reimburse Microsoft for the full retail cost of the software ($679)"

Also, for those who get this: Do yourself a BIG favor and download all the updates from Microsoft after installing. This resolves many stability and PERFORMANCE issues. (Outlook 2007 is a dog until the patch is installed, but is snappy afterwards...)
