OK, I got my stuff from this sale. Let me preface by saying I like Oberto's standard beef jerky, and Iike Slim Jims (not an Oberto product).

So I got the $5/box pepperoni sticks, the $5/box beefsteak jerky strips, and the pork jerky.

The pepperoni sticks:

Very bad. Lousy taste--do not taste much like pepperoni. Lousy texture--mushy/mealy. MUCH worse than a SlimJim.

The beefsteak jerky strips: I took a bit and my gag reflex activated. HIDEOUS tasting. Bad texture, too--its shaped and formed soft crap, nothing that deserves to have the words "beef jerky" associated with it.

Pork jerky: Not bad. Flavor is a bit odd, but certainly edible. Moist but not too soft.

I urge you to stay away from the pepperoni sticks and (especially) the beefsteak jerky strips: They are beyond bad, and are definitely not worth $5/box. I would call both inedibile, and, as I noted in the beginning of this post, I LIKE Oberto jerky and Slim Jims.

I don't see any nutrition information printed on the box or package. Is this legal?

I thought this is regular beef jerky. Not really. It's one whole piece of minced meat plus other things. It's not as salty, dry or tough as regular beef jerky. On the other hand, I worry how much fat there is.

I would appreciate anybody post nutrition information for beef steak regular and beef steak teriyaki.

Not a big fan of the beefsteak things, though theyre not as bad as people make out... plus theyre easier to eat than real beef jerky, so thats a plus.

I didnt realize how much 25 pounds of beef jerky was until it came...

I also like Slim Jims and Oberto Beef Jerky but was also very disappointed with the Cheese and Sausage.

The cheese was oily, hard, and dry.:
The sausage was oily, mushy, and mealy.

I don't know what smelly ass tastes like (nor do I care to), but it couldn't be much worse than this!:

It is not stringy at all.

It is more like oily mush oozing out of the casing.:

Biting into one of these things is kind of like squeezing a pimple.:
