Haha, the question is: Can I really spend 75 dollars on beef jerky?

Answer: Yep... In for 20 pounds of beef jerky for 80 bucks... my bro really likes this crap so worst case I got a xmas present, haha

Thanks, OP. I didn't think I could spend $75, even with Oberto, but they wanted $13 to ship a $30 order to WA, so I doubled up and added and there I was.....

Where's the nutritional information?

Oh Boy! What a good deal!

Are any of these "beef steaks" made from solid strips of beef, or are they chopped and formed?

EbayExpert said: Where's the nutritional information?

Protein: Yes
Fat: Yes
Sodium: Yes
Carbs: No
Taste: Great

I think that should cover it.

I get the joke, but in reality they do have carbs. Some are loaded with sugars and I'm diabetic. I just need to know which ones aren't sugar-cured, if any.

Nice find. Love me some jerky

I got $75 worth for the free shipping -- but after reading some of the comments at SD, I'm uneasy about it. Anyone try these Beef Steak strips before? I like the jerky and mistakenly assumed that's what these were.

ETA: The original flavor ones aren't half bad. I wouldn't pay the $1.29 retail for them, but for .20, they're worth it. The teriyaki ones are going to end up a gift to my local Boy Scout troop -- teenaged boys will eat anything.

Link not working for me.

USE CODE C-88 FOR 5 OFF 50

www.thesurvivalkit.com/obertouw.gif $5

Be sure you like this stuff. I thought sure my teenagers would eat the jerky Amazon had so I got 2 cases. Now I have $49 of dog treats.

Good deals, but this stuff is loaded with sugar, not good for low carb diet or diabetic's

Thanks... got me a ton of jerky

Thanks OP for the deal and tjoeng for the coupon.

I ended up buying 1440 sticks of beef jerky. I do know lots of children.

Hahaha my dad uses Slim Jims to train the dogs. Works really well too.

does anyone in portland want to split an order? I can't justify spending $75 on beef jerky, but I also can't justify paying shipping with a deal like this..

I guess this is only if you're planning on buying a lot. I tried to order a couple boxes, just to try, and shipping came out to $8 for a $10 order.

THANKS OP and coupon provider. I am in for $75 worth minus the $5 off.

Stupid question. Has anybody checked to make sure that usage of the $5 coupon doesn't automatically mean they will charge for S&H now if you use the coupon on a $75 order.

What about the clearence stuff. Can't find any info on their site in regards to definition: i.e date code = good for 1, 2, ... weeks.

My shipping was still at $0.00 after I brought the price down to $70 with coupon. Email confirmation is the same.

Thanx

1 down, 1 to go.

Green for the OP...

In for 15# of Mystery Meat!! Like a previous poster mentioned... if I dont like them then its not a bad deal either on Dog Treats... which now I have a ton of as I went in on the Dingo sale recently.

As for the "Packed with Sugar" comment... Not true... around 3grams of sugar. while not good for Induction its perfect snack for anyone in the Maint phase of a atkins-like diet.

Total Carbohydrate (DRI 300 g) 7 g 2.3%
Dietary Fiber (DRI 25 g) 0 g 0%
Sugars (WHO recommended maximum daily intake 50 g) 3 g 6%
Net Carbs (italics if sugar alcohol content unknown) 0 g

Thanks OP. In 4 1. Now what to do with them???

Theres a bunch of ppl over at SD saying Oberto's clearance items taste like smelly ass.

And my dog is the most spoiled, picky dog on the planet.

I'll sit this one out.

Do they state that all sales are final, and that the clearance items are sold in an as-is condition? If not, then I have zero problem contacting Oberto if I have a problem with this jerky. They can either refund my money or replace it with good product. Pay with a credit card and dispute the charge if the stuff is inedible.

Theres a bunch of ppl over at SD saying Oberto's clearance items taste like smelly ass.
And they are in the perfect position to know what smelly ass tastes like
I ordered a bunch of this stuff, the guys in my office probably prefer smelly ass anyway.

The nutritional info is actually on the bag. Depending on the product, its usually pretty healthy. The red bag jerky i think is probably the most healthy, or the turkey jerky.

Yeah i saw that on SD. They probably are confusing themselves with the jerky!LOL

I agree...this deal was AWESOME...im glad i saw that post!!!!! SCORE!

I think that the "beefsteaks" are chopped and formed...

Good find OP but Jack Links is way better IMO.

if you dont like the product than you can always hand it out at halloween!! lol i just buy the short stops and hand them out...all the kids always end up coming back to my house like 5 times...and their parents want the pep sticks too!! I think they are like $5.00 on the oberto site.

Used the coupon for $5 off.
I forgot....thanks a coupon provider.

50Lady:
That's very good idea. I'll use them for Holloween treat.

No problem! I think sometimes kids like a little change in halloween treats too. Its nice to get some protein along with all of that sugar! haha

Anyone else get any word? I havent gotten a tracking number or anything yet.

mine is in transit. expected on tuesday.
