The last time I took advantage of an Amazon toy clearance I later received an e-mail that 2 of the 3 items I had bought had been recalled. I still haven't had a chance to go through the hassle of returning them. Buying toys for this Xmas is going to be a PITA.

Thanks for posting this--actually makes me want to order from Amazon--at least if something is recalled they will contact me--if I buy at a regular store, I have to depend on the news or search recalls on the web---it does give you a little bit of piece of mind--

The terms of the promotion are below and it states "Limit one per transaction to a customer." As to the interpretation of that, I haven't a clue. It sure sounds as if it would be one for each $25+ shopping order in Toys/Baby made but I honestly don't know. With the previous magazine opt out offers, I only submitted a single confirmation to Conde Nast publications and received a check for a single refund value of the subscription. Perhaps there are FW members who took advantage of previous magazine opt out offers multiple times who can tell us how Conde Nast handled the requests.

Perhaps since shipping will be free (the purchase is over $25 so it will qualify for the Super Saver Shipping) it might be best to have a couple members of your family create Amazon accounts to take advantage of the offer if you are wanting to make a couple purchases and get a couple of the magazine opt out refunds. That way, the purchases would be in their names, under a different account and possibly a different address so there definitely wouldn't be any problems.
