I wonder how many of these will fall on the lead paint list.
The last time I took advantage of an Amazon toy clearance I later received an e-mail that 2 of the 3 items I had bought had been recalled. I still haven't had a chance to go through the hassle of returning them. Buying toys for this Xmas is going to be a PITA.

Thanks for posting this--actually makes me want to order from Amazon--at least if something is recalled they will contact me--if I buy at a regular store, I have to depend on the news or search recalls on the web---it does give you a little bit of piece of mind--

It sure sounds as if it would be one for each $25+ shopping order in Toys/Baby made but I honestly don't know. Perhaps since shipping will be free (the purchase is over $25 so it will qualify for the Super Saver Shipping) it might be best to have a couple members of your family create Amazon accounts to take advantage of the offer if you are wanting to make a couple purchases and get a couple of the magazine opt out refunds. That way, the purchases would be in their names, under a different account and possibly a different address so there definitely wouldn't be any problems.

that's a good point, I usually order toys from Amazon cause they're cheaper and i can avoid crowds at target, WalMart, etc. i haven't gotten any notices of recalls since we don't have any of the toys recalled (thankfully.) that is good to know.
