Masty said: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm going to give this a red, because alot of the PS3 games can be had for under $35 with free shipping on Amazon. And that would be cheaper even than the buy 2 get 1 deal at TRU. ~M -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yeah, some games are 35$ on Amazon but not new releases like Warhawk, Ninja Gaiden, NHL 08, NHL 2k8, Ghost Recon, etc. even if you only use it to buy PS3 games its still a good deal if you buy the new releases. Now if you go out and get enchanted arms for PS3 which retails for $19.99, then no, this deal probably isn't worth it for you... JustinR said:TRU does this twice a year, although I seem to remember the fall promo being a little bit later than September usually. Could be why it's not yet being advertised in-store. This usually happens in late October. Any coupons to sweeten this? |

I went to one of the local Toys R Us stores today and they had signs for both sales up in the store. Interestingly, the signs stated ALL Video games and ALL accessories. Online, "Zelda" for the Wii isn't included in the "Buy 2 get 1 Free" selections, but it is at the store. I got: Zelda, Mario Paper, and Metroid Prime ($49.95 per - one free) Sims Pets, Rabbids and Resident Evil 4 ($29.95 per - one free) 2 Remotes @ $40 + $20 = $60 2 Nunchucks @ 20 + 10 = $30 I think my Wii Christmas shopping is done unless something really great pops up within the next few months. BTW - I found out that all M rated games are kept behind the counter so you'll have ask for Resident Evil 4 or any other M rated title which won't be on the rack. Thanks OP...Green for you. |

This is not just online, people who couldn't get it, just buy 3 any games at the local Toys R Us and have them scan it. My TRU has xerox copy everywhere at the RZone, so if my TRU has this deal, all stores should have it. This deal is not on their weekly Sunday ad, so not a lot of people know about it. Once, or twice a year at TRU. |

Got quite the deal here at the store in columbus, oh - sawmill rd. This works on live point cards for the 360 (and more than likely the wii). I scored Stanglehold, Tiger Woods 08, and Forza 2 on the 360 (w stranglehold for free). I used the buy 1 accessory, get 1 half off deal as well. I picked up 2 rechargable batteries for the 360 ($10 + $5). I also picked up 2 360 1600 point cards ($20 + $10). I really didn't care too much about Forza 2, so I asked if there would be any issues trading this out for another game if I did not open it. The CS rep said no problem... so I'm pretty sure I'll be trading that out for Halo 3 (or towards the price of Halo 3 if the price is > $59.99). Bottom line, good time to buy especially with the ability to swap out unopened games towards something you might like more. I asked and this promo won't be going on when Halo 3 is released. Anyway, thanks for the info OP! Green for you! Don't miss out on this one. |

San Antonio, TX I was able to get (2) copies of Wii play + Mario Party 8 + 2 Nunchuts for $125. They used the $5 off $25 coupon for me. Plenty of Wii plays left according to the store. I don't need the extra Wii play games so I will probably sell them to GameStop for $12 credit or give them to friends with Wiis. |

I was told that I can't mix the PS3 games with the Wii's. Is that true? At the end, I got the Heavenly Sword, Fall of Men, and Guitar Hero 2 (PS2) for $120 + tax. Not a bad deal. (Guitar Hero 2 could cost $79 at other places) |
