superBill said:I was told that I can't mix the PS3 games with the Wii's. Is that true? At the end, I got the Heavenly Sword, Fall of Men, and Guitar Hero 2 (PS2) for $120 + tax. Not a bad deal. (Guitar Hero 2 could cost $79 at other places) They are wrong. The only thing that matters is price. You end up with the cheapest item free. BTW I also picked up heavenly sword and Resistance fall of man. Heavenly sword is fun so far but Resistance seems pretty mediocre so far and I've been playin it for 3 hours. Very overrated game IMHO. |

So is the buy one accessory get one half price working at TRU stores? I just came from there and picked up Metriod Prime 3, Supe Paper Mario and Wario Smooth Move (which is not on the website) for 100 bucks. Sweeeetttt....I asked the cashier about the accessories and he didn't think so but it sounds like it might be working? I want to pick up some points if that is the case (4000 points for 30 bucks which isn't bad at all!). |

Was it for all games in stock or selected ones only? Madison Heights, MI store signs said all games. Sales guy said it ends Sunday. |

How many times do you need people to tell you it's working? The games were working, I was asking about the accessories. My location didn't have any signs for either promotion and in fact the check out guy knew nothing about the accessories promotion so I didn't bother. |

Thanks OP! Went to my local store (Cuyhaoga Falls, OH), and they have both the 3 for 2 and the 50% off signs up. Completed my collection. The other store I called (Mayfield Heights) was OOS (Nunchucks), but claimed they were getting more in today to go out on display on Sunday. I asked her about the sale, and she claimed it was through Sunday for them (YMMV). They say they just got a slug of Wii consoles to be sold Sunday at 9 AM - before ethe store regularly opens at 10. |

No signs in my store. The manager and cashiers clueless. In the end I guess that helped me because they had everything in stock!! Also, today the Are you Smarter than a Fifth Grader promo ends, so she let me use several on my multiple purchases. I admit I had several incorrect answers! Yikes! For Wii: Boogie, Metroid Prime 3, Mario Strikers, 2 Nunchuks $143.xx Also, Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Party 8, Wii Play, Wii points card & Nunchuk $133.xx Then for the Nintendo DS: Donkey Kong Jungle Climber; Nintendog Chihuahua & Mario vs. DK 2 for $60.xx Christmas shopping just about done for my little ones. Woo Hoo! |

Hey everyone. I am michelle. I am new to this forum. I was trying to get in on the buy 2 get one free from tru on the video games. Online I don't see anywhere that it says this. Do you have to have a special code or does it just adjust the price when you check out? Any help is appreciated. Thanks so much. Michelle |

Sorry Michelle. The sale ended about, ohhhh 2.5 hours ago. Midnight eastern time to be exact. Oh man that is terrible. Well, maybe in the morning. Bad thing is we don't get a TRU sale ad because we don't have one here. That would have been a great deal. Congratulations to those of you who got in on it. Thanks. Michelle

Check around Michelle. In Bay Shore NY, the sign and cashier both say the promo is on until 9/23. |

I was just wondering how people got it online. Because I was up and online and I didn't see anything about it. I didn't know if I just checked out if it would adjust the price or what. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. Michelle |
