$5 off $25 coupon (B&M only) - YMMV as the coupon says it excludes video game hardware & software
Just got back from my local toys r us - both deals... Just got two wiimotes for our new wii for @$60 + tax. Thanks, OP! |
Seems like a decent deal! Anyone know if it's good at B&M stores too to save on shipping? |
I think there is 20% off Babies R us coupon floating. Toys R US allows the coupon from babies R US. I don't know if it can be used for this or not? I would jump on it since I recently purchased Wii. We love it. |
no free s/h and tax kills the deal unless you're buying a ton of controllers. |

New remotes can be had on eBay for $30 after shipping if you keep checking the newly listed Buy It Now listings. Cheapest I saw was $27. That said, I still think this is a hot deal, because it's the first I've seen anywhere of retail having Wii stuff discounted. If you just want to get some controllers from a retail place without worrying about eBay, this is the best deal right now. |
FYI- This is for ALL video game accessories on ALL platforms not just the WII |
Would have been nice if Wii Play was still available... looks like the resellers picked up everything... |
This is available in store! Just got back from my local toys r us - both deals... Just got two wiimotes for our new wii for @$60 + tax. Thanks, OP! |
TY OP. I needed 2 more nunchucks. Maybe some1 can answer this for me. If i wanna play a gamecube game on my wii, what type of controller do i need? |
I would get the wireless WaveBirds. That way the whole system is wireless, not just the Wii controllers. They work great and we actually play more GC games on our than Wii games. |

I was about to get the 4000 wii points , but $5 in shipping pretty much kills the deal |
Also, you can purchase the wireless GameCube controller from GameStop and it works just as well without any of the wires. You just connect the infrered reciever to the top of the Wii. HTH |

Classic controllers can only be used for Virtual Console games. You will need a Gamecube controller to play Gamecube games. As a sidenote, Gamecube controllers can also be used to play Virtual Console games. Like str82ebay, I would also recommend the Wavebird. They are hard to find retail now and selling at a premium on eBay, but I would check your local GameStop where they go for $17.99 used. |
