Lavazza Crema e Aroma Coffee Beans, 2.2-Pound Bag here - this is by far one of the best beans for espresso (ESPRESSO!!!) - add 3 bags to your cart ($52.50) - and use coupon LAVAZZA8 (read small print - bottom right from the picture) will take $20 off your order. Good luck!

p.s. Made espresso with other Lavazza beans (tried a few) - all are better by beans (quality) and roast - this particular I have not tasted, but this is a very hot deal (~$5/#) and I would be a fool not to give it a shot (preferably double ) - reviews are very good!

wow! what a great deal! thanks.

i haven't had this flavor before because of the price, but the other Lavazza's are incredible.

i tried to get a second order, but no free shipping. needed to get creative.

thanks again.

Is this as good as the Blue bag Supra Crema? The buy 3 get 1 free offer works on the blue bags too.

$32 at wholelattelove http://www.wholelattelove.com/Lavazza/crema_e_aroma.cfm
$21 @ espresso zone...http://www.espressozone.com/3118.html

definitely a good deal comparatively...lets hope these taste better than the star$ crap i've been using

I've been buying Illy beans for my espresso from Amazon with their $10 off $50 coupons, maybe I'll have to try Lavazza.

Plus extra green for your pun!

Also, has anyone tried their ground beans?

I haven't invested the requisite $400 or so to get a really good grinder, and if these are as good as Illy beans, I'd be thrilled to pay about half as much.

I'm in the same boat (got the Starbucks Barista for $89 but haven't bought a good burr grinder yet). I bought the Lavazza Ground Coffee from Amazon a couple weeks ago, but I haven't tried it yet (waiting to use up some local-roasted ground coffee first). I'm anxious to try it though

I love lavazza coffee, but I am still weary of buying coffee of that big packages. Typically, coffee beans go stale in one to two weeks after opening the seal. How can I drink 2.2 pound coffee in a week?!

GIFTS dude!

Turn some of your friends on to real coffee.

At $5.00 a pound you can be generous. Great deal on great coffee.

Would air tight container work? If not, put some in air tight container and the rest in vacuum sealed bags. Just a thought.

Easy, any of the following,
1) Grad school
2) thesis writing
3) kids
4) linux hacking

take your pick

Great deal but I hate to invest in that quantity without tasting it first. I do prefer Lavazza over Illy overall so maybe...oh, why not? At the worst I will have to consume 6.6 pounds of coffee before it goes bad.

Thanks OP in for 3

How can I drink 2.2 pound coffee in a week?!I bought two sets of Canisters similar to these (larger set same money on sale @ LNT). The largest of the canisters are labeled Coffee Beans and Decaf Coffee Beans, and the next two largest are labeled Espresso Beans using a PTouch. White on clear labels look cool on the black canisters.
