Have serial # ready. They ask how many Wii-motes you have I told them 5 which is the truth coz I had 4 then bought Wii-Play which comes with one.
He tried to put me in for 5 and override the 4 limit but it wouldn't let him(Jeremy)or his supervisor do it. Gave me a confirmation # and said they will be shipped the 15th of this month. Gonna check my email a bit later.

Thanks, OP. Now I wish I hadn't bought any.

I almost bought my jacket covers from Amazon today...

Had the dreaded try again tomorrow error message and decided to call direct. The rep stated it was a server overload issue and to try again in a few days. I asked if I could just order over the phone and he reluctantly agreed to take my order. I think they are abit overwhelmed by the response. He seemed abit put off but made it through it. Be persistant and you should be able to order over the phone. Already confirmed my order on nintendo.com.

Hello,

I'm sorry to hear that you had a problem placing your order for the Wii Remote Jacket. We are aware of the problem and are working on a solution. Please wait a few days before trying to place your order again. When you return to the website and place your order again, you should be able to view the order confirmation page displaying your seven-digit order number. This means your order was successfully completed.

Considering that orders will not begin shipping until October 15th, the wait should not delay your order once it does go through. On behalf of Nintendo, I thank you for your patience and apologize for any inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Nintendo of America Inc.
Odessa Smith

kimsui said:it could be just a hook for nintendo to associate serial numbers to real names and addresses. then on a firmware update or something, sneak in some code to grab the machine's serial numbers. when a 'Backup Copy' game (or a wiikey chip) is insert, it sends nintendo the serial through WiFi and internet....

Thats a bunch of crap Nintendo would never do that

Thanks OP! I tried online but was getting the error. Called them instead. Thanks for posting the number too.

They asked me for my serial

Rats. I called, but they just took my name and serial number and told me to try again online in a couple days. Maybe I should have told them I do not use the internet.

Submitted the order and got a 404 error (jt something not found). Tried on another browser window but then it told me that I had already submitted an order with that serial no., to try again in 24 hours and if not, then call.

Back to the original window that had the error and decided on hitting reload. Slow, but came thru and eventually was able to place the order...

I used Safari and encountered the same message...

I tried to register but got a script error. Will try later..

I just got my 2 Wiis from my order last week from Amazon and my kids can't stop playing!! I hunted for 3 weeks but finally got them last week. I had signed up for alerts from wiialerts.com and I had my cell phone go off. If I didn't have the alerts I'd have still been running around the stores looking at empty shelves.
