WOW! Great find op!

I was thinking of getting a TiVo for my parents for christmas (so the 100 dollar card being delayed is no big deal).

Dead!

I clearly missed out on the original deals, but I think that I did all right. Somehow on one of the links in this forum, I ended up at TiVo's site with an offer of a free TiVo Series2 DT DVR with purchase of a service contract. So, it cost me $129 for one year service and free TiVo and free shipping. That doesn't sound too bad compared to the previous offer.

Link to previous offer

I retraced my steps and found the link to the free TiVo offer above.

The Amaz0n deal by itself would have been basically the same, $129. Combined with the RS deal it would have been a money maker and have a spare unit to boot... but that is pretty much dead now...

What date did this deal end? I have 2 TiVo Series2 DT from Amazon purchased Nov. 08 & Nov. 10 ..would either one qualify with the new rebate?

Tivo Series2 Dual Tuner $150

If you paid the promotional price of $99, you don't qualify for the rebate.

Yea, that's what Amaz0n claims. During the $99 deal, it moved off the .pdf to a "previous offers" hyperlink. Clicking on the link shows a TiVo rebate that lists no such restriction about Amaz0n bought tiv0s during the $99 sales period. I wonder if someone will take up the challenge and try to get the rebate.

I won't, I'm just doing the Radio Shack one.
