Prepare for some red! heheheeh

I posted this couple weeks back... but since then, they dropped the price to $119.88 and added the entire USA map.

For some reason the populous didn't like the deal... LOL.

You probably want to spend a little more and get something way better. This is old and wasn't good even when it was current. Review

That review was at the $600 price point. And even then they had good things to say:
In our tests, the receiver found the satellites quickly (in less than a minute) and navigated us to our destinations without losing its signal, even in moderately urban areas.
It’s not nearly as polished as competing GPS/PDA combos, but the WayPoint 100 redeems itself with a low price and good navigation accuracy. Make sure that you get a regional edition of the device for your area or wait for Mobile Crossing to release maps on memory cards so that you don’t spend all day syncing with a PC.

At $120, I think this is a deal.

What would you use text to speech with GPS for? Very interesting...

Text to speech enables the GPS to speak the street names, speaking "Turn left onto Main street" rather than "turn left in 100 feet".

Thanks for the discount code!

Super cool!

I was not in the market for a GPS unit... but high tech gadgets always tend to zap my wallet.

Anyone bought a carrying case for this? I found one from MobileCrossing.com but cannot find discount codes (a true FWer never buys without a discount code - even free shipping is ok).
