Downer's Grove Frys I don't see this TV on your ad. The $2799 one is for 46" LCD TV. |

I just tried a price match in the Pasadena Sears store. The salesperson called the Concord, CA Fry's store: (925) 852-0300 That store now has it for $2,199. I also showed him the Best Buy receipt but it did not help. I also tried the Pasadena Best Buy store. The manager told me that this was a special 3 day sale the Fry's had. The price is no longer $1,599. He offered to cut the discount in half for $1,899. |

Really! That's suck! Well, I still have this TV from the BB ($1599 + tax). If anyone still want it and you are in NorCal, you can PM me. Otherwise, I will return it to BB this Saturday. |

Getting the 60" for aobut $1300 is just plain sick. The best you can do around here is the 55" for $1600 from the new costco. You will love this tv! |

Believe it or not, I was planning on purchasing this very set at Sears today with a PM to Best Buy for (what seemed like a good deal at the time) of $1979. (Sears PMs for 30 days after sale, too, so I figured if a better deal came out on Black Friday or before, I was covered.) This is, IMHO, the best overall 60-something inch TV you can get right now without getting into the $4k range or higher. To me, it had near Plasma picture quality, and looked better than any DLP I saw, at a fraction of equivalent LCD. (I think it upscales to only 1080i and has no PIP, but that's about the only negatives I could find. And to get those qualities, I'm looking at a $4k set. I can live without, esp. since my Blu-Ray will upscale to 1080p anyway...) Despite the fact that it has been noted that the Fry's pricing was only good through the 21st, to my surprise, my local Sears honored the PM (at 110%!) tonight to the $1599 Best Buy receipt posted earlier. Plus had the Sears Card $250 discount on top of that, and even used a $5 off coupon to get a final pre-tax of $1,284.99. So still working, YMMV. AND, just FYI, if you also buy a home audio system of $299 or more OR a HD-DVD/Blu-Ray player (game systems exempt) at the time you purchase the TV you ALSO get $100 back in Domino's pizza coupons AND a year of Sears In-Home Warranty on the TV. They will also, naturally, match the Blu-Ray or HD Player, FYI. For what it's worth. I picked up a Blu-Ray I was looking for at the time anyway, so there you go. Fantastic deal, thank you, thank you, thank you OP! |

Now that the Fry's deal is dead, the best deal I can find is Sear's PM to BB with Rebate. BB Price: $1979.99 110% PM: -$22 Rebate: -$250 Total: $1707.99 Anyone else have anything better right now? |

Circuit City has a $100 coupon through 10/27 which takes their price down to $1879.99, with free delivery. PM at Sears to take another $282 off that price for a total of $1597.99 (which should also include delivery). |

I'm really wanting to get on this deal, but I don't have a nearby Fry's so I was going to try to do a price match at Sears by using another Sears receipt. However, I'm not really wanting this 60'' version as it simply is too big for me. Did anyone get in on this deal with buying the 50'' version? If so could you please upload a copy of your receipt, thanks. |
