Get a Home Depot 10% coupon for signing up for newsletter. Just make sure you click the box promotions. Mine came a few hours after the confirmation email.
Its not that hot of a deal, but for those who shop at Home Depot a lot 10% helps out. Redoing my bathroom so this came in handy. They also send you other promos and coupons as well.
For those that do not want to sign up for their newsletter you can also get a 10% coupon at the USPS post office. Go there and look for the "Moving?" Envelope (or change of address envelope), its mostly blue. But inside there are lots of coupons and one is for 10% off Home Depot. I pick up a few every time I go there.
You can also get them by mail from the USPS online, its on their website. I saw it there about a year ago (same promo as above) when I changed my address. I will try to find the link and post it.

Yes, it's better than nothing. But it's not free, so it doesn't belong in the Free Stuff section.

are you sure it's not just a promo ad telling you to go online to receive the actual coupon?
