The triple play type deal with the free Sharp 19" LCD went up to $109 a month (from $99) a month, with a two year commitment. This is in the DC/MD/VA area, and was in today's Washington Post.

Not as attractive to me anymore.

ALL of the photos and songs on any of my home computers that are connected to the router they supplied, can provide music playlist, or picture slide shows to my TV.AMAZING and I found this from the VZ remote help menu, they have an interactive guide that walks you thru it. I LOVE VZ FIOS. They have a search on the remote that I can enter an actors name and any thing he is in will show up when it(if it) is on. It does this for categories also, like HD shows , comedy etc..., then highlight it and click enter and its on. Don't know why the tech did not tell me this I love it.

I have the HD DVR and this is the message I get: "Media Manager is not supported on your set top box and this feature is part of the FiOS TV DVR with Home Media upgrade. To order, contact Verizon at (888)553-1555 or go to www.Verizon.com/MediaManager for more information."

WHAT AN HEADACHE I have dealing with these verizon reps. The number that the OP posted will transfer you to an automated # that will ultimately take you to a call center in the East Coast. If you go through them, your information will not go through Verizon's central database automatically. The information that you give them ex. Social Security, Date of birth, address, are through subcontractors of Verizon. If you still chose to go through the OP phone #; you will NOT get a confirmation # nor a land line # right away. BE WARNED!!

Hi - I actually priced this on the web two days ago, and then again today and it was already $110 2 days ago. Also, you have to get a set top box $4.99 and an HD box $9.99 per TV. Then of course you have tax, which no one on line or at customer service will tell me how much it is. But I'm assuming it is similar to Cox which was $8.35. I really don't want the TV or Camcorder, but when calling they said they could only do TV or camcorder.

By contrast, I called Cox to say I was switching unless they matched Verizon and they said they could not match. Oh well.

Anyone compare Cox with Verizon?

Cheers

I would totally love to go to Verizon FIOS. Problem is, my association provides internet access and HOA dues include the internet access regardless of whether you want it or not. I'd be left paying double.

FYI, it's now confirmed that Verizon is stupid enough that they are now out of HD DVRs for the next 4 months. I was about to sign up for the triple play, but not anymore. What a *(@#)* joke.

I have the phone + internet "double play" for $65 plus tax. I just noticed this month the charge was up by $30, because my 1 year promotion ran out. I called to complain, but even before I started, the rep gave me another year of same deal. I think their running out of HD boxes played some role in the new attitude--it was never this easy...
