hominamad said:***SNIP*** Everything I read about the Vibes before said they were lacking bass which goes against my experience. ***SNIP*** Now I'm considering exchaning these for the 210's. I wonder if these will have a more clear high end range? Any advice? Really? The V-Moda Vibes are supposed to be for heavy bass with average details / mids+highs. All I've read (iLounge, Head-Fi, AVSforum, etc.) state that the SE210s will have weaker bass but with a heck of a lot more clarity. IINM, its sound signature is close to the Jays D-Jays. HTH. |

SE-210K is listed OOS, but the deal is NOT dead! White Version Code works for the 210s, which in my opinion look just as good. Based on reviews that I've seen, at this price and if you are in the market, these are very good entry-level/mid-level in-canals to purchase. NOTE: if you aren't getting the "quality" of sound that you are looking for in good earphones, then remember that the source has to be quality as well (nothing below 128kbps, and of course higher is better, with diminishing returns) |

Wouldn't the SF3 be equivalent to the SE210 (single balanced armature driver,) and the SF5 in fact be a step up from the SE210, equivalent to the dual-driver SE410? |

I demo/sell the entire SE lineup for Shure and the entire Ultimate Ear lineup (except for custom molded ones) along with Panasonic HC-500 and Sony NC-60 noise cancelling headphones. I can guarantee you there's nothing else better than Shure for the money and audio quality.
Ooo. Then I shall use this opportunity to ask a question. I know the se530 is considered good. How good is good?
I actually sold 2 SE-530's at work today so I'm a little tired from explaining why they're $500 and what makes them so special. But to give you a quick answer, the SE-530 is hands down the best earphone or even headphone you can get in the regular consumer market. It's kinda hard to describe how it sounds like. Triple sound drivers with 2 built in woofers and a tweeter on each module. You just have to try them on to get an idea. Think of them as high end theater system right in your ears.
Most of the SE models block off the same amount of background noise somewhere around 90%-93%. They actually block everything out (low, med, high) unlike the noise cancellation system, which only blocks out the lower frequency. Sound isolation don't require any batteries because they're passive and you won't have to suffer a headache from listening to the "white noise" running in the background of noise cancellation systems.
In comparison to the Ultimate Ear sound isolation earphones, the Shure SE lineup is actually smaller and far more comfortable. The Ultimate Ears are a little deeper than some Shure models but they definitely aren't in the same league as the Shure when it comes to blocking off sound. Ultimate Ears are good pro audio quality earphones, but I wouldn't grab a set of UE's over Shure unless if they were given to me. UE actually had to give some of their earphones away to a few high profiled musicians to help promote their brand. Shure just goes by word of mouth and is preferred by more musicians and true sound enthusiasts.
Note: To Mods, I'm not trying to sell anything on here. I'm just providing info on the Shure's and how much they go for with the Shure friendly discount. Nice review... |

I placed an order with them a few days ago(for this headfone), got the order confirmation and the order shows up in my account as well. Contacted them today to check the process, they told me that they can't find my order anywhere in the database (using my CC, name, phone, etc....) I asked them why my order shows up in my account, they had no idea. The only thing they can recommend is to call their sale rep and place the order again. I was like....!@#!$#$^$. This is obviously their fault (error within their softwares or whatever *_*), so shouldn't they make it easier for me re-place the order? Really disappointed at this store. Will not shop here again. |

got notice that mine (backordered like most) shipped yesterday. They've been pretty good about communication, I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again (assuming the phones show up. ). |

ejch85 - I had a pair of E500PTH, I called Shure as I was clueless how to remove the ear foam pieces as well. They told me just to squeeze and twirl them off. They did come off, but I felt uneasy with the process. Perhaps others will chime in letting you know it's normal and they come off easier with time. I don't have that pair any longer, so only did it one time. |

WEll i don't know. i have a pair of E2Cs, while i like the performance of the headphone compared with my older Sony NC-10s they are not really that comfortable at all, after 3 hours in my ears, my ears start to hurt. i am not sure if the foams are not exactly fitted right? I hope the SE lines will address this issue or maybe i just need to try something else like V-moda.. |

I ordered these and they are decent, but only a little better than my existing phones. I kind of wish I'd held off and gotten the super.fi 5 pros for $150. |
