Alright, I looked up some specs for my own edification. E4500 has 2MB cache vs. 1MB on E2180. It's 10% faster at 2.2GHz vs. 2.0GHz stock. Both have the same 65W TDP. The E4500 looks like a capable part under and overclocked. It's going to be hard to resist this one...

HAHAHAHHAHAH, OK no disrespect.....but HAHAHAHHA. Get the $75 Abit IP35-E along with this E4500 and say hello to an every day 3.2 ghz cool running rig. Mine benches to 3.5 orthos stable with a $20 AC 7 Pro cooler
I am SOOOO tempted to jump on this. I am just wondering if there may not be some other amazing deals in the next 3 weeks due to the little known Black Friday.
The 2100 and the 4500 can both be overclocked to ~3.0-3.2 Ghz with stock cooler and increase voltage. There difference in cache will affect gaming performance.
I have the 2160 OC'ed to 3.0 stable on my Shuttle XPC sg33g5, increased core volatage to 1.440
This is an excellent deal and I would buy one before they run out of stock. That's below Intel list price even with the recent price drops. If you're one of the 2% of the population that lives near a Fry's B&M, then you might find a better deal in the next couple months. If you're in the market for a cheap C2D, then buy it now.
