saw that today. If you can find an olevia 27 " (399 at Staples) or westinghouse 27" they would be much better options.

FYI

My WM had all items in the circular already priced the same today.

I wonder why you say Westinghouse? I tried a Westinghouse 19" LCD HDTV (SK-19H210S) and it didn't find anywhere as many ATSC or clear QAM channels as a 20" RCA CRT(20F424T).

In general, people seem to be happy with what they get with westinghouse's. I personally like the ability to select inputs directly on the remote which helps with macros, and think they give a clear picture if not as high contrast as the big brands. RCA has had a bad reputation on quality the last 10 years or so.

my rca died in less than a year and carried only a 90 day warranty. buyer beware, low quality products.

I just picked one up.

Model #L26WD21
720p
No info on RCA website about this tv

1 Hdmi
1 VGA
and the other normal stuff connections
The display model picture was decent, still getting ready to set mine up...

$378.oo and if you want to add the 2yr Ext warranty for $28.88

I bought the last one they had at my WM, the lady said they put them out today for tomorrows sale and everone been buying them up. The picture on the add actually shows the one with the DVD built in($543) and has the single base stand this one has two small legs.

Item Number and Connections

Ok overall picture not bad for 480I, 720p good, 1080I really good...
For the price not bad deal for a bedroom tv IMO

RCA = Really Crappy Appliances

I was in WalMart last night and this LCD TV was by far the worst one on display.

Every time I see RCA in Wal-Mart or Samsclub, their TVs always look horribly blurry, even worse than Mitsubishi's projection TVs.

any reviews? I have been trying to look for some reviews... having a hard time...

Like "Westinghouse", "RCA" is a brand name that is rented to add credibility to a product. Sarnoff and Radio Corporation of America are long gone, and the marriage with the French company Thompson completed the death spiral.

As for this set, under the plastic RCA badging you might find "Sharp", "Soyo", or the name of some other respected hardware maker. That electronics package is probably sold under several retail names and model numbers. We bought one for our son for $440 or so including a three-year warranty and tax.

Performance of this model seems excellent. As for reviews, the model number was probably created for WalMart - you may not see any.

It's definitely worth the money. You may love or hate WalMart, but would you rather take something back to Tiger Direct?
