Sears B/M having some Duracell Rechargeable on sale. Best deal is 8 pack AA for $12.02, regular price is $23.43, rated 2650mAh.

upc#: 041333747873. (some 2300mAh also same upc, older product, so watch out)

These may not be the best rechargeable, but this price is pretty good if you need them.

They are near the best of the non-low self discharge type NiMH. Green for you.

You can get Kodak, low-discharge AA NiMH's over at WalMart for $7.58 per 4 pack. I would pay a couple extra bucks and get 8 of those than these Duracell's. (I have a set of these Duracell's and have to recharge them all the time because they die out after sitting in things around a month.)

It's cool.
I bought 4 pack AAA 1000mah for $10 at meijer.
Think about it, 8 pack AA 2650mah just for 12.02!!!
I have to give you a green.

How are the Kodak compare to the Sanyo low-discharge NiMH's??

Is this a regular WalMart or a supercenter? My WalMart only has the cheapo Digital Concepts AA batteries. I looked online at WalMart.com and found the Kodak AA batteries (4) with a "value charger" for $11.97. They did NOT have a 4 pack online without the charger.

Want to know that too.

Green for you OP. Are these cells made in japan? I have three different types of duracells japan 2500s, chinese 2300s and singapore 2050s. The japanese cells clock in about 2.5-2.4 Ahrs. The 2300s haven't finished testing yet, but 2050s come in around 17-1800 mAhrs.

I'm testing on my new lacross bc900, at highest current setting 500/1000(I'm impatient).

I actually saw Sanyo's eneloop in WalMart supercenter. The package comes with a charger and 4 AAs in electronic/photo area, but it didn't have a price tag. Costco also has Sanyo eneloop for $25.99 which comes with a charger, 8 AA, 4 AAA, 2 adapters from AA to C, 2 adapters from AA to D, and a case.

Eneloop's don't have the same power. They have a longer charged shelf life, but will run down much faster in use.

Been seeing alot of comments from people buying from Costco just to return every 3 months. Yes, they will eventually make Costo withdraw their generous policy, but why not. Yes, the character of the FW member has shifted, but what the hey!!

Buy something like this from Costco and return it in 3 months!

Rayovac Hybrids are also in WalMarts near me. They go for about $9.50 per pack of four AAs. They also have a charger with 2 x AA and 2 x AAA for a little over $10.

I own 4 of those rayovak AAs (got them with the charger in a pinch) and they tested just shy of capacity, as did the kodaks i picked up at the same time. They're brand new, to contrast with my duracells which are >1.5 years old.

I've had several Rayovac rechargeable batteries leak after using them for a while, so I stay away from them.

Anyone seen any recent testing on rechargeables. I am in the market for some now but i am a little confused on whose are the best. Some that were very good are not so good anymore. Any guidance would help thanx

I was to a Sears in Orange County and they did not have Duracell batteries at all. They checked the UPC in the computer but they could not find anything. The batteries where not in the ad either.

Did anybody else got them? Do you have any scanned ad or link?

Thanks.

The Sears I went is in New Jersey. It is a Sears Essentials, maybe different from regular Sears?
My receipt just regular Sears receipt.
On my receipt there is another number, 47167, SKU?

They had the red Sale Tags on the price tags.
