Excellent! Can I run these with 4-4-4 timing RAM in dual channel mode? I know this question's been asked like a zillion times, but in your opinions are you going to notice the difference in CL (4 vs. 5) in using your computer, playing games, etc.?

I paid $200+ for this memory about a year ago.

Got a set. Been using WinMen to free up RAM but 512MB still just isn't enough.

Hi,
How can i determine if this is compatible with my Dell Dimension C521 which has 1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM at 533MHz- 2DIMMs?

Thanks

Use the tool on www.Crucial.com to figure out what type of memory your computer takes.

Im pretty sure you can. It will just run at the slower timing.

I did check Corsair's site for that info, and my comp is compatible with a PC2-6400 but I don't see the specific model of "TWIN2X2048-6400" listed on the compatibility list. does that mean it's not compatible?

i have a gigabyte mother board said it support the same model but 6400 c4 at the end does that make any different than just 6400 anyone ??? help tech guys

I'm in the same boat as you. I assume that it works..but would like confirmation

Not too bad. Pulled trigger to upgrade to 3 Gig.

Good deal, but for the same amount of money I'd rather buy these.

A-DATA 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)

Same Price A/R.

i paid about $180 AR earlier this year...I just ordered another pair to run 4GB, event though my 32 bit Vista won't recognize all of it ...

This one is 5-5-5-18. It's bad.

Same price and size... but worse memory, so why?

Frys.com also has OCZ 2x 1GB for $29.99 after $35 MIR. 4-4-4-?
http://shop3.outpost.com/product/5398158

EDIT: just read elsewhere that while this OCZ is capable of 4-4-4-? @ 2.x volts... it's default is still 5-5-5-? at standard 1.8v
