WooHoo!!! Called Decatur, Al K-Mart this afternoon...noonish...said they had received a shipment of PS3's this morning. Went immediately after work...3:30pm. Went to the pharmacy...ask the pharmacist for the booklet with the coupons in it...she handed me 2. Went to the Electronics department asked the very young girl (about 20) if she still had any PS3's....she had 3 40gb models left was all. She asked if I wanted one...i said only if this coupon works with the PS3...she didn't even look at it...and she said "it works with it". I said ok...but i want to buy 6 $50 gift cards first (she was wearing one of those red ribbons that says buy a $50 gift card get a $10 gift card free). She was very nice...told ME that's a good idea. So...bought $300 worth of gift cards and with the buy $50 get $10 free got $360 worth of gift cards. Final Numbers were: $400 40gb Spiderman PS3 with Spiderman and get 5 free blueray movies (80) 20% off coupon $320 after coupon 25 tax $345 total due $360 paid with gift cards that cost me $300 got $15 Cash Back So my final cost wast $285 after tax on an item that would've cost me $432 with tax normally. That's a 34% savings. Oh..almost forgot...also got a $15 off my next $25 purchase. Now that's a deal! Think i might try this again this weekend with an ipod. Using the 20% coupon, the buy 50 get 10 free gift cards and my $15 off $25 I should be able to rack up quite a deal. Thanks OP!!!!! |

Binar said:Mark my words "there will be a shortage on the 40 GB PS3 soon" At least in Central KY, you are correct. All of the local Kmarts seem to have pulled all stock of PS3 and Xbox360 from their shelves. Either that, or they sold out in one day. They say that they can't tell me when they will be getting shipments. I even asked if they would tell me when their product shipments are so I could just check back on those days, but they said they didn't know. Also, at least one store has posted a note on the door saying that they will not honor the coupon on electronics. I'll keep checking back to see if they get some in stock. Otherwise, congrats to those of you that are lucky enough to get this deal. |

Stupid blond fat cow at the Hillsborough, NJ Kmart shot me down at getting a 60GB PS3. Said "i received a memo today saying we can't take the coupons for PS3's." |

I had no problem using a printed coupon today for a 40gb PS3. I even donated $1 to St Judes. |

Was able to duplicate and improve the gift card deal outlined above. I improved it by buying ANOTHER $50 gift card with 5 reward cards, thus getting an extra $10. Bought the 40GB for $300 and have $28 left over in GC credit. $272 after tax => 37% off! SUHWEET!!!! |

People are double posting in both. While I agree it's annoying, you could also just use the "not interested" function of FatWallet too. |

Most KMarts in StL are out of the 40 GB PS3. Found one of last remaining 80 GB. The Kmart in Bridgeton didn't have the GC deal but did honor my B/W printer copy of the coupon. Not too shabby. |

Should have gotten the 60gb one...better backward compatability Agreed, you can easily upgrade the hard drive yourself, and Motorstorm wasn't all so great. You can't put the Emotion Engine in there yourself |

I only got one gift card to fly today. She was getting ready to do them all, then decided to call someone else and she said its our right to change the deals at any time... so 20% + $10 off with the gift cards, i figured might as well. Better than no gift cards |

Just wanted to thank the OP for this fantiastic deal! Got the 80GB for my son for Xmas and a DSLite for my daughter for Xmas. Also got the coupons for $10 off 25 and $15 off 25, which I'll use on games next week. Also got the Kyocera Wild Card for my daughter using 20% coupon. FYI, you can also use these on phone cards ... (this was in the glassboro and mantua NJ KMarts ...) BTW -- first thing the cashier asked me was if my coupons were originals, because they won't take copies ... and the Mantua pharmacy had a HUGE stack of booklets when I was there yesterday. |

I went into that exact K-Mart on Monday! They probably still have 80gig's in stock they had 3 when I was there. When did you use the coupon? I might want to buy a backup 360 for when mine breaks. |

EbayExpert said:FatherTed said:What's the point of a PS3 which won't play PS2 games?? That has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! Talk about making a dumb mistake.
If you want to play PS2 games, then buy a PS2. Why would you spend $400 on a system just to play PS2 games, when you can get a PS2 for $100. THAT has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Reasons we are considering a PS3 over a PS2 or another system (XBox, Wii, etc) - PS2 broke, but we still have 20+ PS2 games that kids still like - PS3 offers new games that look cool, so not sure if I want to buy PS2 vs upgrade - PS3 offers BlueRay movies that would nice on HDTV - 1 machine to do both, less space I could see buying a PS3 that doesn't play PS2 games if you don't have any legacy games and if you don't think you would want to buy/play any of the them until the number of PS3 games grows. There is also a flipside as well though. TomB |

Scored! Took a trip over the state line to PA and picked up a 60GB PS3 (the only one (besides the 20GB version) which is hardware compatible with PS2 games) for $399 + tax! This was at the Langhorne store. Got the $15 off $25 coupon for next week as well |
