After $500 off, which you can search on Google or any deal site, and $150 gift card, which it'll come when you add to the cart, the price should be $759.
I don't have link to this deal because I just customize it from Dell website. If you're interested in this deal, just go to Dell website and customize like I did below and it should come to the price

I think this is the best Inspiron 1420 we can get at the price, anyone has the same idea?

linky?

OP, first of all, thanks for posting.

Secondly, when you post a deal it is extremely helpful to post a link, a coupon code, and any other pertinent information for obtaining the deal.

For example, where do you go to get that laptop? What are the codes for the discount and gift card? You get the idea.

alert mods

doesnt need link just go to Dell website and customize as I showed above. Then find a $500 off coupon, which you can search on Google, and that's all you need.

I apologize.

Not sure if I misunderstood your posting but 759 seems to be the price AFTER a gift card that you can't even apply to this computer. I guess if u had already planned on buying something else from Dell for $150, then it might make sense, but otherwise it would be $909 + $150 gift card.

Even if that is a good deal, I think its ridiculous to get a high end laptop with Vista Premium and not get 2 gigs of memory. Whatever works for you i guess. Personally, I'll pass.

I mean you can buy something else from Dell A Canon SD1000, maybe, with couple bucks more

Anyway, should I rename the topic?

ps: does anyone know why I cannot see my post after I reply? right now, I have to log out to see the comments and then log in to rep

Near the top right corner of the page, change your "view messages" drop down to show all messages and not just the "rated:good" etc.. messages.

renaming your title might be good. It's a little confusing the way you wrote it. If it really was $759 and it had 2 gigs of memory, I probably would've went for it. This deal on the other hand isn't as exciting.

. not hot -- seems like a normal config. oh wait, it is. hate gift cards too. give us real money in further instant discounts.

FYI, the price for the customization above is at least $$1,124.00 after $500 off coupon. Plus, hard drive and batteries are not as good as mine, no camera, I can handle 1GB RAM and then upgrade later, and it's better to have N-Wireless card, though. The only thing I missed is the Blu-ray Disc Combo, but I don't really need it anyway.

I think it is a good deal.

you get a high end laptop, then when the gift card comes use it to upgrade memory, get a bag, and a mouse. In fact bought one today. The $500 coupon is new to this week, last week it was $425 off. Good post.
