Free shipping no min at Banana Republic Code: LUXE Note: Requires payment via BR Luxe card. <--I don't think this will stack with the 15% visa card (unless there's some way you can split payment between visa and BR card; not sure)
I don't think you can use the codes in-store, but you can print a 15% coupon if you're using a visa through this thread.
Best I could find so far, but I'm still searching.

yes, if you spend $100+ and pay with your BR/GAP/Old Navy card you can use SHIPBR to save on the $6 standard shipping fee

But, you run into the problem again, of the stipulations clashing. To use the 15% code, you have to pay with visa. For free shipping, you have to pay with BR/GAP/Old Navy card. Unless you can split payment, the 2 codes won't stack.

if you do that you don't get the 15% which requires payment with a VISA card.

Hmm... maybe its just me, bc BR sent me a new BR Visa card that serves as both. Maybe they're phasing the old ones out? Or perhaps I signed up for another credit card unknowingly! oops! I was able to stack it all.
I just checked, turns out the 15% is good for only 1 item. I updated the thread to reflect that.

I wouldn't wipe my butt with a cashmere pea coat from WalMart - it would be too scratchy. Oh, and full of lead.

Thanks for the post OP. I got $98 dress pants and $78 jeans for $135 shipped after paying with my Visa card...
I guesss I probably should have placed two separate orders since the %15 off code only applies to one item (though at least they apply it to the most expensive item in the shopping cart). I could have saved an additional ~$3.50.
Edwood said: MPHSeattle2K2 said: BananaRepublic.com slices 20% off with no minimum required via coupon code BRHOLIDAY. Plus, shipping is a flat $6 on every order.
MYBRGIFT for 15% off 1 item can be stacked with BRHOLIDAY if you use your VISA card making for a whopping 32% off!
If you have the Banana Republic Visa card, you can also use SHIPBR to save the $6 standard shipping fee if you spend $100+. (Thanks, reron98).
So 20 + 15 = 32 ? Does the discount lose 3% in the stacking process, or is this some new kind of math?
yep, the new math goes like this: 0.8*0.85 = 0.68 = -0.32

This is fairly simple "new math" in fact...
Let's say you have $100, you discount 15% off that. You're left with $85. You discount 20% off the $85, you're left with $68.
This is a 32% discount off $100.
Most stacks are sequential like this, and not an aggregate of all the percentages.
I updated the thread with the expiration dates. BTW, the free shipping code (SHIPBR) is said to expire 11/30/07

Woops, forgot about that one - thanks for the reminder, and thanks for being on top of this thread! More threads should be monitored as close as this one is
Thanks MPH...!

I quit shopping at Banana two years ago. All my BR pant buttons broke within 2yrs of ownership. I'm happier with Dockers and whatever else I find at Lord & Taylors. (A few B&Ms weren't affected by the acquisition)

Same problem for me. Any pants I've bought, the buttons break. Other's have not.
But I still like the pants.

no, just use the back button. for free ship using BR card, enter BRCARD first. then use back button and enter another code 20% BRHOLIDAY.
This gets you free ship using Br card. Cant use the 15% without using VISA. UNLESS you have a BR Visa
What are you guys buying? Their online sale selection for the men's stuff is just like it is in store... one small rack in the back with really crappy clothing (for BR standards) for like 5% off.
I got a confirmation email and an order number about 30 minutes after I ordered. This was last night about 11PM EST.
First part of the text: Thanks for shopping at BananaRepublic.com. Your order number is #xxxxx. Please print this page or write this number down, for future reference. This order should arrive within 7 business days.

I must be missing something but for some reason the 15% isn't stacking for me even if it says applied. This is the summary I see right before "Place Order" button.
--------------------- Merchandise $172.28 Promotion: Get 15% off any item when you use your Visa card -$10.20 Promotion: Get 20% off your purchase at BananaRepublic.com -$34.46
Standard 4-7 Bus Days $6.00 Estimated Tax $11.15
Total $154.97
---------------------
172.28 - 10.20 - 34.46 + 6.00 + 11.15 = 144.77
Am I missing something here? (Edit: Yes I am using a Visa card) Still a great deal btw OP thanks... just would liek to save the extra 10

15% is only on one item. The 20% is off of everything in the cart. Not exactly 32% unless you purchase one item.

I like Banana Republic, because they have Tall sizes that aren't just for tall fat guys. This is a pretty good deal.

The price $172.28 already includes 15% off any item. The original merchandise value, without 15% off, would be $182.48.

Or at least that's how it was in my case.
Thanks! I was having he same problem (or thought that I was) but you are right. The item price shows the price already w/15% off. The additional 20% comes off after that and then add the shipping & tax.
These banana coupons are getting weaker and weaker...they actually told me in store the 'gift certificates' you earn with your banana card can't be stacked with any coupons or discount codes. Not sure why clothes made in china at the same factories as the gap and Old Navy cost so much here...the quality is better but not at the prices.
