Actually it is a good price, the price of the game is normally $49.99. It just went on sale at Circuit City, Fry's and maybe a few other places this week. Plus no tax (for most of us) and free shipping.

I'd rather support Amazon, no tax and free shipping (two-day with Prime trial). BTW, Buy.com is on my s-list as well. COD4 was backordered (no notice, still is) and they are blocking GCO. Many thanks, FaenaAzul!

You should be able to get it for $34.99 at BestBuy by price-matching Circuit City and using the Warcraft-labeled gift card, has a $5 coupon on the back.
this is definitely a good deal, tax free and free shipping

I ordered one. It's a good deal with free shipping.
Actually, it's not "tax free". It's just that Amazon.com will not collect the tax for you. Instead, you must submit payment for tax on your tax return under the "use tax" line. Personally, it's a lot more convenient to buy from a stores that DO collect tax because it's difficult tracking all of the purchases that I owe tax on and then paying it when taxes are due.

( Me + IRS + gov't = <3 ) And by "that's exactly what I do" I mean "LOL!"
Huh?! Don't you know we all FW fellows record all sales tax owed to the government? I even file with IRS for the tax of the FatCash I have received. Didn't you?

Actually, it is tax free, as I'm not gonna pay tax to one state when I bought something in another state; they can go to hell. Taking it out of my paycheck or at the register is ok, but I will never volunteer to send them extra taxes. I pay, and they waste, enough already.

thank god, and i hope i never will
QFT! Let's hope all that play it on video game screen never have to experience it.
I'm a seasoned FPS vet... I've been in some intense firefights in CS:S, ran in front of tanks in BF2, and will now get to experience CoD4, but the rush that I get playing these games is nothing like the horror and agony of war. I just watched a special on "Band of Bloggers" about soldiers and blogging in Iraq... very compelling and moving show. It was on the History channel for veterans day, and they did not spare the gory graphic imagery. I winced whenever I saw a mangled corpse or blood stains. Never once have I felt the same way in a digital environment. I'm a ruthless mo-fo who shows no mercy, but in RL I'd be shaking in my boots and scarred by the scenes. Interesting observation... I wonder what Jack Thompson would say about that?
Anyways, I picked this up from CC but I think I may have to get one for my brother for xmas... have been too busy playing hellgate:london to give this a whirl (I'm sure I'll get hooked by next week).

By.com sucks arse. You're right, they don't give a flip about the customers. They screwed me, so I never went back to those bastards.

$39.99 again. If you need immediate satisfaction, Best Buy also has it for $39.99 this week.
It's 49.99 now. Why is this game still $40 plus everywhere? It's been out for half a year. Even "open-box" version on eBay are going for 35 and you never know how long the multiplayer code will last on those.
