Tony guy is back and there are a lot in stock. Hopefully, the supply will lower the price back.

I've bought several times from the seller TONY that OP referrred to in his email. Real professional guy. Only problem now is he has raised his prices - both for the item as well as shipping.

Yep, I am back to my regular $100 card for sometime now.

OK, I admit I know nothing about GC, but I do know a little about prepaid Tmo. As far as I know it has never been free to receive calls with T-Mobile's prepaid service, it deducts minutes from your account whether you make the call or receive it. The only free thing I can think of is free incoming text messages (sms), so how exactly is GC a deal for prepaid Tmo customers? (ps: I know that postpaid Tmo plans have My Fave - but such thing doesn't exist for prepaid AFAIK). If someone out there could please enlighten me it would be much appreciated.

Edit: I guess I should have thought a little more about this before posting. I suppose GC just makes it more convenient since you use that number as your "permanent number" to give out to friends/family etc. and you can add whatever number is associated with the SIM to your GC contacts.

Well that leads me to another question, can you request a GC number you currently have as either a mobile or landline number (assuming you're willing to discontinue those)?

There is a lot feabay seller for this kind of sim card.
What particular seller could not did not affect this deal.
Acturally, all SIM supplier in feabay had already increase their price to around $10.
That make this deal double up the cost.

You only get 10 minutes, but they may be enough to "test".

Looks like the old SIM cards are indeed discounted by T-Mobile. The new type of SIM cards are different on eBay. It's $20 credit instead of $30. And it's not pre-activaed. It sells for about $15 on eBay.

Question is, does the $20 count towards gold status?

the $20 will count towards gold status as far as extending the usage to a year, but 10cent a min needs a $50 card min.

are you sure? The discounted $30 sim card does not count the $30 credit towards gold status. I just asked the tony guy and he said no it doesn't count.

I think tony guy is right, when I used his cards, I never heard the automated message say I am $70 away for gold status, instead it used to say I am $100 away.
