Technika said:Are you guys sure the Maxtor 320GB is same as Seagate 320GB drive? I know that Seagate has bought Maxtor, but it seems that Maxtor's last drive is the 320GB HDD.
This is the Maxtor 320GB, STM3320820AS, if you look closely, it has 8mb cache. Maxtor 320GB
This is the Seagate 300GB, ST3300622AS-RK, they didn't even list a 320GB model. The 300GB model sports a 16mb cache. Seagate 300GB
If you guys who bought this drive can confirm the cache size, then we'll know which is which. The order states the product name as: Maxtor 300GB Serial ATA/300 16MB Buffer L01F300 - Retail Hard Drive Kit. I hope it helps. |

I had that happen once too earlier today. Is there a zeus in the address? I think that's their backup server. "zeus?" No zeus? But sure is fustrating looking at $119.99 after repeatedly taking out and adding back the drive in my cart. |

Don't bet on it.
I bought this line of bull last time and got a 300 Maxtor just like it says.
It's worth $50 bucks, but it's definitely NOT a "Seagate perpendicular drive [7200.10]" yeah,Maxtor HDD sucks, after a while,it will be making noise and suddenly whole system slows down |

Now I keep getting 'Internal Server Error'. Guess I'll try in a little later. Hope it's not dead, BF's just started! $119.99 is definitely not hot! |

Ringing up as $109.99 for me now, even when added to cart. Deal dead or just related to the server issues? |

Cannot get it to work for me. A search of the site shows the $50 price, but the product page and my cart show $110. Tried multiple times over the last hour. Site still extremely slow. |
