OMG they raised the price!!! I wonder if they'll reduce price before the rebate ends or renew the rebate? |

Whats the next chipset from intel? Isn't the P35 getting old...I would rather skip it and go onto the next one, if that is a good idea. Plus Usb 3.0, DDR3 and and another revision to PCI-e should be out soon, no? I know that some of those features aren't that big of a deal, but if they are on the horizon, then I would rather wait. |

Is it true that if you send in the UPC code off the product for a rebate Newegg will no longer honor their one year warranty/exchange policy they have if the item becomes defective? |

No it is NOT true. I would suggest reading Newegg's return policy! I did. This is why I am asking. I emailed Newegg yesterday and have not heard back. "Removal or alteration of a product's serial number or serial number sticker will automatically void your Newegg Return Policy. Products that are returned to Newegg with a missing, damaged or altered serial number will be refused RMA service and returned to you." The serial number sticker is part of the UPC code that I sent in for a rebate. So can we still get the RMA if we removed the serial number sticker/UPC code from the packaging? |

OK, you didn't mention you removed the serial number sticker as well as the UPC code sticker. I just removed the UPC half of the sticker. Since the board has a serial number sticker afixed to it I think you'll be OK even if the packaging serial number is not present. |

WARNING! Might be worth taking a few minutes and hop over to the Abit forums. There is a section called eRMA. Seems Abit's customer service is AWFUL. Charging for cross ships and not refunding money, sending bad boards to replace a bad board, not answering phones. It just goes on and on. Even for < $70, I am not sure it's worth the time and aggravation if something goes wrong with the board. I passed on this. Seems like NONE of these m/b makers really go overboard to support their product from reading a # of forums. But the Abit really takes the cake. |

SOYO takes the cake in my experience. |

I must have messed up while installing CPU fan. Board CPU pins are damaged (few). Should I call ABIT and explain the situation? OR should I get this one? I bought this board few months ago (for $70+). Thanks. |
